 Name:  Siyroai
Appearance: A skinny, pale shit with longish black hair and silver eyes.
Species: Human
Background: Born a prince to a tribal people, Siyroai was proud of his family which had for long upheld a reputation of martial perfection due to the quality of warriors it produced. Siyroai began his training early however he would never finish it with his people, when he was ten a nearby kingdom attacked his people subduing the tribal confederacy with superior numbers and coordination. In a despite attempt to secure peace with the kingdom Siyroai’s family ceded their buffer lands, traded some of weaker families into slavery and as a sign of submission they handed over SIyroai to the kingdom.
Impressed with the individual strength of the tribal people, the kingdom’s ruling family decided to adopt Siyroai. Although he was treated well, Siyroai developed a dislike for the kingdom. After nine years of life as a prince, Siyroai engaged his fellow princes in personal combat and slew most of them. Eventually he fought the kingdom’s king, Siyroai was defeated and forced to flee. Siyroai, after his defeat, began to travel seeking to engage the strongest in combat to improve his skills.
Skills:
Speed: Siyroai, a warrior trained for individual combat, values speed as a baseline for a strong offense and defense. He is very fast and his armor is designed to facilitate agile movement.
Weapons master: Trained from birth, Siyroai knows who to operate many kinds of weapons. He also can effectively use improvised weaponry.
Racial skill:
Feral: Siyroai’s tribal blood makes him a very dogged fighter. He is able to take hits, he is able to resist mind control (to some degree) and he is immune to most poisons and toxins. Taking damage tends to just increase Siyroai’s efforts rather than deter him.
Flaws:
Hungry: Siyroai’s body requires a lot more food than others to operate. He consumes double what others of similar form eat.
Repulsed by magic: Items that are enchanted give Siyroai a headache, he will not use magic items or be the target of support magic.
Equipment:  He wears a well fitted suit of armor of black decorated with purple cloths. He wears a black Roman galea with a faceplate. He has a special sword that he keeps sheathed horizontally across his lower back. He also has a dagger sheathed under his arm and a push dagger that he can quickly deploy.
Attack: Hellish windfall slash: This move combines Siyroai’s speed with his tempered reflexes and abnormal strength. Siyroai outmaneuvers his opponent and unleashes a furious attack into his enemies weak point.
Defense: Nennen Augen, the graceful eye. Siyroai’s eyes never miss anything, in defense he is always ready to dodge his opponent’s (or opponents’ with he’s fighting more than one) moves. This defensive technique focuses on avoiding his opponent’s hits and leading them into his counterattacks. Siyroai may be good at taking hits, but that doesn’t mean he will let himself get hit.

You attempt to freeze the nearby area in time, aside from your teammates for obvious reasons, and... despite your best efforts, you just don't seem to be able to freeze the doors. Maybe the runes have some kind of warding runes etched on to them? Who knows? None of you know how to read them.

You attempt to bind some demonic rats to the material plane, although it doesn't seem like the greatest idea. Despite pure logic, the demonic rat summon is a success, and they follow your orders completely. They crawl all over the doors, and all of them burst into flames. Seems there's some kind of ward.

You step away, which is probably a good idea, as a moment later you see a bunch of demonic rats burning into flames whilst crawling on the doors.

Whispers "Hey guys, can anyone one of you shead some light on the situation if ye know what I mean?"

You get everyone to stand back, and shoot one of the doors. As one would expect, bad things proceed to happen. When the door is shot, it violently erupts into flames, so you have to take another few steps back. It doesn't cease being on fire, and doesn't burn down, either.


Well, now one of the doors is covered in ceaseless flames, and the other is just there. This really is a conundrum. If only there was some other way.......
