"I have no clue what I'm supposed to be doing, so...Yeah."
"I mean, I have no clue where I am - that is, in general, not the specifics - or how I got here, so I really don't know where to go."
The melody remarks that you're implying you had much of a clue on what you were supposed to do back before you ended up here.

After a quick nap, a shall begin my search for the hotel, for a better napping place, I guess?
You make your way through the crowds, having to push and shove at times to avoid getting swept up in the tide of bodies and non-bodies. Countless stalls past, most strange, a few seemingly bastions of normality in a world gone mad. Soon the novelty wears off. The bright lights, the vibrant colors, they all blur into a haze. It feels at times as if you were wading through a stream, a stream of Nightmares, a slow trudge looking for a building you don't even know the appearance of. And in time you find that you really are in a stream now.

The Nightmares around you have literally blurred into a stream. The shoreline, consisting of disjointed details from various stalls rushes by you, even if you try to stop, the opposing current carries you further and further upstream. Awaiting you is a golden spinning top the size of a person, wreathed with a whirlpool-like accretion disc. Its tip a drill bit. Its body a gear. Its axis a miniature spire. Looking at it makes you feel like it's drilling into your eyes. Hearing it makes you feel like it's drilling into your ears. It is dragging you towards it.

[[Stress: 4 = 4]]

David examines his wooden helix.
It is a small double helix formed of walnut wood which faintly glows with a corona of starlight which dances around them like a perpetual flame. Attached to the air next to it via keyring is a simple tag that reads Monolith Hotel.

"You want this? Hmm..... Are you sure that's all you have to offer me?" Attempt to haggle with the being.
Glowing text devoid of all color traces itself just above the table, parallel to its surface. With cursive writing it reads as That is the usual bounty.

"Alright then, I'll take it." She hands the being the tape and takes the note. Standing up and leaving the table, she notices the weird way that lady in the corner has been looking at her. She approaches her, and pulls out a chair. "Mind if I... take a seat?"

She nods before gesturing towards the bloodstains on your clothing
"I see your wounds have healed. That's good. How've you holding up? Still getting used to it all?"

"Wait wait wait. What the fuck are you talking about! Do you know what happened to me? You better fucking tell me how I ended up... here... or I swear I'll..." Janet has burst, as she has been penting up all the rage she has felt, for having no idea where the hell she is.

"Well, I had slightly more clue before I awoke hungover in the middle of a surrealist cityscape."
((Whoops >__<))
With a shift in pitch, it shrugs asking what you wanted from it then. Answers?

((Walking around the city))
((Well, looks like the RNG's been sated by your death at the hands of those shotgun wielding shoggoths. Because you just rolled really damn well. 98 out of 100 in fact.))

You take a step and bang your head against a wall. Ow. Behind you, all the people standing around the plushies are no longer there. Replaced with a building who edifice is just a laughing face. You look at what you bumped into. It's the Monolith Hotel. You've managed to somehow run straight into your destination.

The Monolith Hotel unsurprisingly is just a massive rock in the shape of a brick. Furniture that look like they were purchased from the Sedlec Ossuary haphazardly jut out of it at various angles, partially fused to the edifice. An acceration disk of parallax errors circles around its roof at a slight angle, the friction between its components releasing energy in the form of disembodied butterfly wings. There is no door, just an enormous hashtag symbol at the front which sightlessly stares judgmentally at you.

"Wait wait wait. What the fuck are you talking about! Do you know what happened to me? You better fucking tell me how I ened up... here... or I swear I'll..." Janet has burst, as she has been penting up all the rage she has felt, for having no idea where the hell she is.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, calm down there!"
She rests her hand on a guitar case next to her. Wait, was it always there?
"You don't remember? You stumbled in here with a few knife wounds."
She gestures again to the stains on your clothes.
"Wasn't sure how you even managed to get here in that state. I operated on you, stitched you back up."
She sighs.
"I have no idea how you got here. Most of us ended up here through, I guess, something messing with our minds. Fever. Drugs. That sort of thing."
She turns to the barkeeper.
"Mineral water please! Put it on my tab."

Impulse ability: i pick none if not required
((It's required. And dodging thrown objects is a bit narrow for a Hangover Talent. Seeing as other people have just avoiding harm in general, or brawling, or mathematics.))
