Spoiler: Balloons! (click to show/hide)

You can get balloons to release for Bayfolk to chase! You do not have to be a player in this game to participate!

Getting Balloons
Free balloon: You may send off your first balloon for free, go ahead!
+1: Water Magic: Once per day. When a player throws a fishing line, before they reel it in post *tug*
+3: Bell Magic: At GMT+0 12:00AM, post the next days date, or anytime after that it hasn't been done already.
+2: Sprout Magic: You must perform Water and Bell magic each, to use Sprout Magic, and both again before using it again. After meeting the prerequisites, you may place a plant next to a parent, either in the same tile or if there are atleast 5 of that adults of the plant, you may put one in an adjacent tile. Copy the pixel map(not the one in this op, look for the newest version of the other one which is much smaller) and add a red dot for red flower, light green dot for a tree sprout(the brown dots are trees), then upload and post your edit. Windows paint standard colors are used whenever possible, however a best guess will work. Plants must only be placed on the green grass tiles.

Send Balloons
Simply post *balloon* to release one over Bay Town. Like many things in this game, this is honor based so it's up to you to track your balloons!
If you are a Bayfolk(again, you don't have to be!) you don't get to catch your own balloons.
You can improve the gifts in a balloon by spending additional ones at the same time, simply add extra "o"s to balloon for each extra one spent.

Balloon Presents
At this time presents will contain only bells. Balloons must land in a tree for you to get the present. (At this time, trees are not yet effecting this game) If someone posts *balloon*, simply post *shake tree* before anyone else to get the gift. If an hour passes after the *balloon* post it floats away...

Bayfolk
If you see one(*balloon*) and 1 HOUR hasn't passed, post *shake tree* for 10 bells! If there are extra "o"s beyond the normal 2, you get an extra 10 bells per "o"!

Roles

You haven't chosen a role. You do not have a salary and must rely on getting bells from helping others, fishing, gathering valuables like shells, bug hunting an so forth, exclusively for profit.


Merchant Blue the Aardvark(GameBoyBlue)
You get new shipments of items now and then. You help fund the building of new houses in Bay Town and help people get on their own two(or how ever many) feet. Possibly helps with accounting.
Salary: Sales profits and loan interest.

Officer
You help remind people to follow rules, and are otherwise payed a daily salary to be helpful.
Salary: 10 bells a day.

Museum Curator Bazzu the beetle(zomara0292)
You keep a list of all the donations, who's donated them and so forth.
Salary: 5 bells a day, raise with larger collection.

Tailor
You help Bayfolk look their best. (pixel artist)
Salary: Payed by the job, set own prices.

Mail Deliverer
You are in charge of helping the bulletin board to stay tidy, delivering anonymous letters when asked, delivering gifts.
Salary: 10 bells a day.

Bard
You write a poem every Sunday.
Salary: none. (but MAD respect)

Traveling Services
You offer a service but do not live in town.
Tailor: Hans the gecko(GUNINANRUNIN)
Bard: Flabort the Bat(flabort)

Mayor
Job is to bring everyone together. Elected position.
Salary: honorary title

I have released some speckled carp into a water barrel near my store. To get clear results please only fish there for now.

Alright. Between 30 and 100 pixels should be good. You can choose the format. I'd expect they should all feel like a matching set, but it's up to you, these are just guidelines.

How much for a new look? Would ✪20 do it? (I'd like to wear a green sweater vest and tan slacks.)

Is this(and I am not critizising, just asking straight up) too complex a bulletin system? I definitely want it to be copy past I think. Otherwise the mail deliverer would update it daily and get them by PM, would that work better?) We'd need someone actually wanting to do that job to make it a real option.

Edit: no that would be a bad idea, copy paste method means we dont need someone to be here every day, or it would have to not be via pm, I guess kinda like a vote counter in mafia, just compile them and everyone do something like #NEWPOST before one. Lets do that.

Edit2: OK I GOT IT. Like I said post #NEWPOST. Then once a day a volunteer will compile yestardays posts into one spoiler.
