"So here's the plan."

Nataria bends over and tries to scrawl in the dirt with her right hand. She notices it is missing shortly after.

"You know, I REALLY want to kill the captain. An eye for an eye, a mutilated idiot for a hand.

...

Hammurabi said it. Not me.
"

She scratches the dirt with her other hand.

"So this is the ship..."

"Those are the trees..."

"And this is the big fuckin' fire about to burn us all to hell."

"We don't have to worry about the fire itself. We only have to worry about THIS area of trees. If any trees are taller than the distance they are from are ship, then they pose a threat of burning and falling on it. We should deforest this area STAT, with Jojo. He's a fucking tree-killing machine."

"This area we will also deforest if we have enough time, to prevent the fire from reaching us at all."

She seems satisfied for a moment, before coming up with a brilliant idea. She scrawls a small humanoid figure in the dirt.

"Then, we knock the Captain out, tie him up, and leave him out here!

To die!

Yay!
"

With that being done, she stumbles to the ground, and wheezes heavily. It seems she has not fully recovered from the shock of having her hand removed by a heated blaster-shot.

"Coleman. Transport me to the medical room, please. I do not have the strength to walk. On your way back out, look for a fire extinguisher. Don't get your hopes up. Knowing this captain, they're probably just full of ice-water, or containers of fire-proof silly string."

((Nataria points out that she can still move while tied to a log, unless you tied every part of her. She assumed that she was tied at the belly and nowhere else. She also questions what she was tied with. The only materials we have to tie at this point are like... The captain's paper towels. If I am tied, it is probably not very sturdy. Also, I can still move my hands. I can still flop ground-wards, too.))

((Rope))
Jojo wanders through the ship, and finds some rope
Jojo, aware on some level that she's awake, decides to tie her to a log nearby.

((Rope.

That you found on the ship.

The ship run by the crazy person.

It's probably either REALLY strong rope that he decided to pillage from a military prison, or some loosely tangled together toilet paper.

Anyways, I spent about twenty minutes on making that look nice. Just humor me.))

((At a 5 I would think it's nigh unbreakable...))

"Lass, quit pesterin' the crew! Yer on probation for tryin' to mutiny alone, and yer hand was the price of yer failure! Ye need at least half the crew on yer side fer a successful mutiny, everyone knows that!"

Use my blunt, but surprisingly sturdy plastic sword as a plow to get the trench started to keep the fire away.

"If we decide to let ye stay I'll give ye a hook hand if ye behave fer the rest of the landing."

Get Nataria to the medical room. Return to the storage room, and search for a fire extinguisher in addition to a shovel.

"Actually, I just got back. Should be here for a while now. We can still play cards if you want, though."

Found spare laptop. Main computer will be fixed soon. We're back in business, people.

Jojo begins to drag Nat into the ship, but stops when her and Coleman start agruing about releasing her. Vlad, to his credit, attempts to stop the fire by pouring water onto the ground, then, realizing it's futile to do so, begins searching around for a dingy of some kind, [2] and finds a badly damaged floating landing pad, presumably not packed properly after the last aquatic landing.

After a quick bit of planning, and a lot of convincing, Coleman and Jojo decide to release Nataria. After attempting to cut the rope, which appears to have a steel cable in the middle, Coleman just shoots the knots binding Nat to the log. He then takes her to the medical room, and she begins treating her wounded hand. [4] After looking through the storage room, he finds a mostly-full military-grade chemical fire extinguisher.

[6] Vlad, who was paying some amount of attention to the plans being made, starts using his sword to dig a trench, but pushes far too hard on his surprisingly strong sword, buring all but the hilt in the ground.
