Petnieka isn't so much science as she is exploration; she supports scientists, and at times will give them things to find, but her main deal is the constant creation of new unexplored locales for people and stashing secrets and new little things for them to find. It's not so much progress for her as muh as it is secrets being revealed and new things being found, basically. She isn't too interested in seeing society change in some particular path, but she is interested in seeing humanity constantly expanding over unknown land.

Ah, well. Works for me. So long as she doesn't actively destroy civilizations to make room for more hidden lands it seems like not only are our interests not in opposition, but in fact are quite well aligned. You want people to expand over land, I want to take areas where they live and make them orderly. You take over an area, then I follow behind and build kingdoms and empire in your wake? We could certainly work together well!

If anything, you're god might take issue with mine.  Nix is also an explorer god, but puts less intrinsic value on the lives of others.  While it wouldn't be its first prerogative, screwing around with a situation in just the right away to create as much uncertainty as possible is never far from Nix's mind.  But I'll do that as much as I can with only my creations.

The issue that might arise is that Petnieka is a great fan of seeing how different people adapt in different ways to different lands, and it would make it very very difficult to create a uniform empire... which I think she would be bored by, in the end.

Yeah, I think I left myself a bit too constrained with the spheres.
Whilst reaper and keeper are cool as seperate gods, I doubt priests of grim would work.

I think I'll need to branch Morius out a little.
