Gerald would move just a little further away from Contagion, and try to find a place to hide from view. he had a different plan since his allies ruined the element of surprise for the entire party.

"My goodness you murder happy folk are dull, not much short of threat of destruction or promise of immediate and no strings attached power is worth wasting a life in such an inglorious manner.  I have half a mind to report the lot of you now for conspiracy to subvert due process outside of extenuating circumstance." Literally Unlimited Minions crosses his arms in dissapointment at the ones who have specified a guaranteed effort to end the target's life prematurely.
