Today, the Union has received several reports of a disturbance involving extranormal activity in the suburbs. Believing it to be nothing important, they sent some of their newest recruits in.

((So it's up to us to decide where our characters are, and the newer recruits can be in the field if they want. Gerald doesn't have to be with them. Why would you even think everyone was at base?))

A sharp exhale is heard from a figure covered in black clothing, and wearing a gasmask. If anyone in the room has been around for a little bit, recognizes them as Contagion, who is not exactly liked by the Union. He crosses his arms, looking at those around with the endless darkness that fills the lenses of the mask.

(Maybe we are in the field. Just different parts of it. Like anyone just arriving there, like me, Blokkere, and, soon, LUM just walked up the sidewalk, whereas Gerald was already there, Nicole is briefing the other recruits in the street nearby, BE and Kira were there getting briefed on what has been happening. And Contagion was standing around breathing deeply in a corner/wall. Point is, we can just solidify our places here. Gerald may just not have noticed the others yet. Sound fair?)

Voltage fled. It was all she could do against 'The Twelfth'. She knew she should have killed that last scientist before they could create another monster. She was breathing raggedly as she ran from the town, heading towards the nearest city. She needed to find help. Someone who could heal her, or fight 'The Twelfth'. She knew that was impossible. Her own abilities had been negated by them, she was lucky to be alive. Keep running, she willed herself on, I need to keep running before she can regroup and attack me. Would she not make it? She was nearing the city, but would she make it?
