Bio: If you were to ask Brecht Kerwar why he became a mercenary, he would probably answer with the phrase "practical magical research". Brecht was interested in magic from a young age, but even earlier he was fascinated with the stage. His father and mother were traveling performers, and their approach to life and the stage enamored Brecht since before he could make the distinction between real life and what happened on the stage.
As he grew older, Brecht took the stage himself, usually playing young boys or women until he came of age. In his mid teens, his magical talent presented itself. After learning the basics of magic, Brecht immediately attempted to blend his passions. The magic he had learned, sadly, was not suited to the stage. Smaller spells did not serve to show the grand effects he had in mind, and those that were visually impressive were far too dangerous to his fellow performers. But Brecht did not give up, and when he came to be a man, he told his mother and father that he was leaving their troupe to pursue his craft. They hugged him, and kissed him, and sent him on his way with a fresh tome and a pouch of medicine.
Since then, Brecht has taken on whatever jobs give him an opportunity to use his magic, lending him practical experience with which to craft his own spells. None of them will be destructive or powerful, but he plans for every single one to be flashy and loud. His dream is to return to the stage with a complete mastery of lightning, thunder, and wind. Fire is too dangerous to be used on set.

Bio:
Jezzail is a Dragon Cultist from Revice. Born to a moderately wealthy family, she was taught the magic arts as she grew up. While she had no talent for staves of any kind, she had a small affinity for light magic. On her eighteenth birthday, her father was killed by a burglar, who stole multiple precious tomes.
Filled with righteous anger, Jezzial pursued the trail of the burglar, and eventually tracked down and slew him - but the tomes were gone, and her father was still dead. Now aimless, she drifted between mercenary jobs until she arrived at her current employment.

Biography:
Gammel Velgsver is 63 1/2 years old, born on a rather unremarkable night in the distant past. His entire life, he has had an obsession with physical fitness and agility; he had intentions long ago of joining his small village's guards, but his father forced him into the family business of butchery. Despite this, he has trained with a blade his whole life 'should the need arise', honing his muscles to a point expected of men thirty years younger.
Tragedy has struck his village. Beasts from a section of cursed lands, its presence long forgotten, attacked it, and an understaffed town guard was unable to fend them off. Gammel was one of the few survivors; with nobody to sell parts of dead animals to anymore, he has sworn to become a professional monster hunter instead. He has agreed to work to escort [MACGUFFIN_PERSON] to [MACGUFFIN_PERSON_DESTINATION] both for his own personal training and out of a combined sense of worry that they will be attacked and revenge on the evils that destroyed everything he loved.

Bio:
Shion Nimmetion is 15 year old girl, born in village of Nimmet to minor nobility family. Her father village chief saw she had no talent in physical combat unlike her younger sister Eliza, her upbringing was given to her mother the village shamen. She was taught basic rituals, history and magic arts as she grew up and would often enjoy alone time collecting herbs at lake Ester with her mother. She tended to be rather shy and nervous often leaving her to bite her tongue.
At age of 13 1/2 she got separated from her family as they were fleeing horde of gargoyles which left her mother and few villagers dead, as her mother was helping evacuated others. Shion with no clue were to go and in panic fled eastward to Revice where after spending 6 months coming to terms with her grief she needed money to stay fed as the orphanage there couldn't provide much and took on odd jobs with left her bitter.
After spending year of drifting through odd jobs, Shion decided to be mercenary so she could get stronger and find out where her father and little sister was. This led to her leaving Revice and arriving at her current employment.

Bastion Blast comes from a long line of farmers from the Nation of Napelli. Born ten years later than his other six siblings, Bastion grew up being babied, and given little respect by his family. At the young age of 18, Bastion ran from his home and decided he would fight for the army. There he learned not only valuable weapon and armor crafting skills, but by the absence of his family, he also learned how much a family meant to him.
After the war, Bastion with his new hopeful look on life and family, quickly found love upon returning to his hometown. In the following years, his siblings moved from the farm seeking more exciting and lucrative work areas, and in their absence, Bastion took over his family farm as the new head of the family.
Now, at the ripe age of 47, his grandson questioned him after his semidaily war story session, asking for new stories that haven't been told multiple times. Bastion, maybe going through some sort of mid-life crisis decided that he would show his mettle to his younglings and their children, hoping to impress them with trinkets and tricks from afar.
