welp, it looks like several people used my ideas.
Time to negate them.

Energy Sink:weakens powers or magic used in it's area of effect indiscriminately and weakens fear generation from followers in it's area. it can explode if a sufficiently strong effect is used.
Nullifier: Completely stops all magic/powers in it's area of effect indiscriminately, and prevents fear generation from followers in it's area. It can explode if a sufficiently strong effect is used, and is more prone to exploding as it absorbs ALL magic/powers used when compared to energy sink.
Purifier: Can reduce the effects of taint in the ground, but is harmed more severely by tainting effects from other sources.
Plague Soother: Can reduce the effects of taint, poison, and disease on living creatures near to it, but is more susceptible to being tainted from other sources.

Looks good!
So nullifiers make people immune to fear?
Pretty much. When you make one, you basically shoot your self in the foot.

Speaking of lowest intelligence, that reminds me of the fact that it's probably your first time in prison. Don't worry, I can give you some tips, having spent some time in a few myself. The best way to make friends here is to drop the soap during shower time. Try it, I'm sure you'll love making friends like that!

Umm no? It's pretty clearly meant to infiltrate groups of enemy followers to stop other horrors from gaining fear or using their powers or magic. It does also prevent fear attacks from working against them from what you're saying, but I'd say that'd be worth it to stop my enemies from gaining fear income.

but if you can move whatever is imbued with it near to the enemy and keep it alive, it is crippling. the only problem is that anything that can summon a horror itself is probably strong enough to make it explode with a single ability if they focus it. so yeah, expect chunky salsa.

Huh, I was thinking that if you made one near your followers, they wouldn't prey to you. Nullifying fear also seem like it'd be very bad in the future.

Teleport away from followers. Make nullifiers. Give it some shapeshifting or illusion ability. Order it to infiltrate Follower Group X. Teleport back to followers.

As for fear immunity, given that fear attacks are a thing, it is rather clearly an advantage except for the lack of fear income.

here is my thoughts on it: IT would negate fear gain AND prevent any magical stuff from being used by allies in it but at the same time, it would block incoming spells and powers from enemies, giving it a double edged sword. also, as I said before, if it is overloaded it will explode. so casting enough times at it will make it go boom.
Also, presumably illusion is a form of magic, so that would fry and alert anyone who had illusionists to the presence of a nullifier.
Did I mention that it explodes if anything capable of summoning another horrors uses an ability or power in it's radius or targeting it's radius spesifficly?

I think I should increase the cost exponentially

Infiltrated nullifier explodes among enemy followers, killing hundreds.

Nullifier isn't some double-edged sword, it's a super-effective way to cripple your enemies. Personally I either wouldn't allow it or give it a unaffordably high price modifier.

I'm not sure what you're reffering. If nullifier, then yes please. If not talking about nullifier then that sounds worrisome.

I didn't mean explode like a suicide bomb! that WOULD be Op if it worked like that. I mean explode into a pile of useless guts and gross out/cause brief panic everyone around.

More reasonable.

lets see here:
Negates fear generation of followers around it,
Negates magic of followers around it,
Can die if too much magic is used around it,
Will die if a horror capable of summoning a lesser horror uses it's power on it or the area around it,
Cripples it's ability to be disguised effectively by illusions, making it hard to sneak in,
and of course, it doesn't stop non-magical forms of attack, or poison, or disease, or taint.

Ehh. Looks fine. We'll just have to see how it is used

Yeah, I'll admit I derped on the illusion thing. You'd have to specifically make the nullifier with the appearance of the group you want it to infiltrate. Which is perfectly possible so the problem remains, it just doesn't use illusions.

I would assume such a disguise would be imperfect, since it would have to learn language, and the effects would be noticeable if they moved through a crowd of enemy followers. Not only that, I suspect it would cost more as we are replicating a entire human as perfectly as we can, but not perfectly enough to make it stand out.

For those of you who don't know, if there is a trait you don't know the price of, post the trait, and a description of the trait, and I will do a price check on it.
