Name: The Fallen King
Powers:
Force of Presence: Those around him find it hard to move, most humans fall instantly to their knees. (Harder for enemies to move reduction in speed)
Commanding Aura: Slowly turns those around him into loyal subjects.
Crushing Despair: Two giant Shadowy hand's that can be summoned and used with great force to crush or pummel enemies.
Crumble: All things rot, rust, decay with time, this accelerates that by a 100fold. No obstacle can stand in his way, doors will rot away and bridges can fall. Certain materials may not crumble or take longer and only weaker willed humans will rot away.

Description: Shadow encloses his Entire being especially his face, the only distinguishable figure above the neck is a silver crown tipped with black. He wears a armor of black engraved with runes of glowing red that shift and cover his form, radiates fear and inspires awe. He also wears a blood red cape that trails behind, finally he wears a broken sword hung from his hip, with a single red glowing rune on the pommel.

Hope this is okay....will work on it if not.

Name:Rumia
Powers:
Manipulation of darkness Kinda self explanitory she can make her surroundings pitch black should she wish, even if its right out in the open in the middle of the day
Stormbringer Rumia always has a longsword of chaos with ancient runes on it that will be very bad news for whoever gets hit by it,then again giant dark chaos swords aren't ever good for the body when used with any kind of force.
Divine demon Is able to make herself look more like an angel for a little bit of time to lure unsuspecting victims

Description: Whenever you see Rumia in her true form you have three options, one accept your fate, two beg for mercy, and three run like hell not that any of the options will usually do much good for you. Rumia in her true form looks like a tall woman with large black crow like wings with a dark purple halo above her head, her skin is pale, almost pure white and her moth and eyes are as black as night yet her hair is a dirty blonde, her erratic movements just add to the creepyness, then again its not like you will see her as she rips your arm of and eats it as she almost always manipulates darkness during the day so that almost nothing can see as she dislikes the light, she looks much less creepy when she is in her deceptive angel form looking a lot less like some creature from hell and more like the classic western description of an angel, then again she doesn't do this often as she would much rather be relaxing as she is quite lazy, she also tends to enjoy fresh human for her meals.

Question though. What if we're not quite driven to destroy the world, or are just made a way that we can't actually garner fear?

Hmmm. Well, you still are going to be scary because that's the only way you can get fear. If you can come up with a good alternative that's fine.
How about Awe? If you brought a person back from death (as in full out resurrection) people would be in awe of your power. Likewise, most actions that could cause fear could also cause awe if done right.
For instance, summoning creatures or lesser horrors, creating disasters (possibly after having be wronged by someone or something), and having lesser followers perform their powers would increase awe.
Alternatively, fear could act as a source for negative/basic power, and awe could be a late game thing.

Name:Akeraun, the Rejuvenating.
Powers: Awebringer: gains a extra trickle of power from performing beneficial actions.
Resurrection, perfect form: Can revive up to three creatures or followers per turn. Can revive mini horrors at the cost of three turns as well. Cannot be used alongside undead wrath.
Resurrection, undead wrath: Can revive enemies as mindless zombies, up to 10 regular zombies per turn or one undead mini horror per two turns. The undead are indiscriminate attackers, but weaker than when they were alive. Cannot be used alongside perfect resurrection.

Description: While horrors generally mean Ill for the world at large, Akeraun sees it as his charge, and wishes to protect it against other horrors who mean it harm. While he is by no standard good, he is not outright evil either, and simply would like to watch the world until it is brought to a end by itself, not by outside intervention. He prefers to take on the shape of a scholarly man with a cat's head, though his true form is as incomprehensible of a mass of flesh and rot as most other horrors.

Name: Liliach.
Powers:
Enlurement Passively attracts other beings to her as thoughts slowly build up of her in them, having familiar bonds strangely form which ends up leading to them worshipping.
Wispy Forest Horrifying tendrils sprout and lead to gruesome death of those who are impaled.
Fleshmancery She is able to manipulate the cellular levels of organisms, causing immense pain due to the process leaving most as horrifying works of art.
Description:

Her true form is that of tall hollow silver tree, it's fleshy branches full of living tendrils that act as leaves moving in their own directions and large purple flowers. It's grotesque roots covered in bones from organisms being rooted to be used as fertilizer and capable of uprooting and allowing her to walk. When appearing to lesser beings she takes on a form similar to nymphs with teal hair and purple flowers forming a dress giving off a unnatural vibe to others. She ravish human concept of art which peaks one of few interests as she sees causing chaos as only a means of gaining power and not something she tends to care about, when doing art can sometimes take it to extreme ends leaving her unwary plaything of horrific changes she has done to them.

Name: Sightblinder
Powers:
Eclipse (Passive):
The sun (also the moon and stars) is blotted out by the power of the Sightblinder. The greater its fear the larger the area of effect, starting at a few miles, and eventually becoming a true eclipse, blocking out the sun entirely. Those who sleep within the darkness of the eclipse are plagued by maddening dreams.
Ensnarement: Sightblinder may release titanic amounts of black silk, ensaring all within a few miles in thick sticky silk that is very resistant to damage and slowly drains away their life, souls and mind, feeding the Sightblinder. The size and effectiveness of the web improves with fear.
Earth: Sightblinder has dominion over the earth, being able to manipulate it, forming tunnels, mountains, canyons, causing earthquakes etc.
Description:
A massive matte black spider. It hates and fears the light, and desires to snuff out and consume it. Near invisible in darkness. Malicious poison constantly drips from its mandibles, poisoning the ground it walks upon.

Name: ø¬œ∫ - Auditor.
Powers:
Void The Entity is not quite present. For it leaked over from beyond the veil of reality. The Auditor is Of The Void. That which touches its corporeal form ceases to be. That which touches where it directs its will ceases to be. It is here to Audit the fabric of reality. If it feels the need, the Entity can Void something. Disprove its existence and sink it back to the Void where it belongs. Rendering it and whatever point it existed to make nonexistent. Additional Audits shall come to participating parties at a later date.

Audit The Entity can and will sink things into the Void. Many have racked up negative karma and debts over the centuries. Those debts transfer to the debtor's children, and their children's children. The Auditor is here to collect on those debts. This world belongs to the Void. And the Void intends to claim it.

Contract The Entity is here to create debts and cement the Void's claim upon the debtors and their possessions. Default on your contract and the Void will swallow you whole. Always read the fine print. Even if it's written in Void.

Description: The Auditor takes numerous forms. Those of the Void are amorphous. However its favorite form is that of a mortal Lawyer. As with all Lawyers, an aura of dread, absence, and depressiveness follows wherever they walk. A briefcase in hand, holding contracts with deals you cannot refuse. Whatever you do, don't default on your debts.

Name: The Ebon Angel
Powers:
Wyld Dominion: The Ebon Angel lays claim to the uninhabited areas of the world and those foolish enough to journey into his domain subjects or prey. Sparsely populated areas within the Angel's dominion gradually become more and more dangerous to humans, with flora and fauna changing to defend the Angel's claim.
Hunter's Vigil: Those humans (and other creatures) that have sided with the Ebon Angel are granted the gift of the Vigil, the ability to shift their bodies between Hometrees. Each Hometree cost 2F to create and allows the Ange's cultists to quickly move between them.
Wyld Hunt: The Angel has come to tear down the softness of man and instill fear once more. Once every 2 turns, the Angel and his followers may rampage throughout a region in ghostly form, causing great loss of life and fear. People and objects may be kidnapped/stolen during a Wyld Hunt.

Description: The Ebon Angel has been sleeping for a long time. In previous centuries, he once laid dominion over the wilds of Europe, bringing fear to the rich and poor alike. In previous centuries, he took the name and form of many men and myths. In the modern day, the Angel has reverted to a far more primitive form, an angel made of root and bark with wings of vine and horns of amber.

Glad to hear. What are your thoughts on the concept of Awe? Also, if it does end up being a valid form of power, could we change GDF to GDI(general domestic influence)?

Awe is going to be a factor in fear production. You are still going to get fear, but your followers will be more in awe of you then scared of you. Also, who thinks I should post the IC now?

Fair enough tntey. Sounds good to me.

Demonic spoon, fear and Awe are two different things. You can have fear without awe, and vice versa.
You can be afraid of a predator, or awestruck by a magnificent view.

Awe: Reverential respect mixed with fear.
Quote from: Awe Etomology
awe (n.)
    c. 1300, aue, "fear, terror, great reverence," earlier aghe, c. 1200, from a Scandinavian source, such as Old Norse agi "fright;" from Proto-Germanic *agiz- (cognates: Old English ege "fear," Old High German agiso "fright, terror," Gothic agis "fear, anguish"), from PIE *agh-es- (cognates: Greek akhos "pain, grief"), from root *agh- "to be depressed, be afraid" (see ail). Current sense of "dread mixed with admiration or veneration" is due to biblical use with reference to the Supreme Being. To stand in awe (early 15c.) originally was simply to stand awe. Awe-inspiring is recorded from 1814.

EDIT:
Quote
awestruck by a magnificent view.
Standard Lovecraft horror at the insignificance of mankind.

Yes, that is where it came from. But that is all.

Quote from: definition of the word "awe", from Google
a feeling of reverential respect mixed with fear or wonder.
"they gazed in awe at the small mountain of diamonds"
synonyms:   wonder, wonderment;
admiration, reverence, respect, esteem;
dread, fear
"we watched in awe"
Now obviously you wouldn't be afraid of a pile of diamonds, would you?

No that's not all. "awe" is deeply rooted in "fear". The fact that you want to make it its own thing when it's just an aspect of fear is silly.

Of course I would. A mountain of diamonds/other large amounts of wealth is terrifying. If you're smart and malicious enough you can crash the world economy with that, leading to the ruin of mankind.
