"My satchel... There's a bottle of disinfectant in there, along with some bandages and kit to treat wounds... Damn, to think that just one hit could mess me up this badly... Humans are fragile creatures, aren't they?
Try not to go into shock, panic, pass out, puke, or die. Try not the to think about the awful sensation of being stabbed Whoops, too late.

EDIT: ((Corrected spelling errors))

"Well, looks de-dead to me. I don't see a reason in saving him, m-might as well just put him out of his m-misery and loot him."
I pull out my machete, and take aim at the neck of Rocco.

((That escalated quickly))

"No! Wait! Don't do it!"

EDIT: "You'll get blood on my best jacket!" After a bit of thought, Coleman adds, "Need I remind you that I am the doctor here? I'll decide whether or not I'm dead!"

Coleman tries not to think about the sensation of a blade cutting through his neck Damn it, too late.

"Honest work with good pay? Sure, I believe you. Count me in."
Nordo leaves the bar and joins the caravan.

If he happens to notice the hobo guy try to kill the wounded doctor guy
Narbo yells "Don't!"
and aims a sword at his wrist, ready to throw.

Verminus Thrax is a dynamic man. He is complex. Ever changing, always reacting to the world around him. As such, again, what he does depends on who is faster and the situation he finds himself in half way through the turn.

Quote from: if Verminus Thrax finds himself holding a seriously injured but still living person
"Back up. We need him."
Verminus Thrax turns himself so as to move the bleeding man's head out of range of the machete, and gives the filthy transient a hard stomping kick on one of his legs.

Quote from: if Verminus Thrax finds himself holding a headless corpse
Verminus Thrax screams in rage, tosses the body toward the filthy transient, and cleaves him asunder with his axe.

((I actually don't plan to kill the guy, btw. That would be EXTREMELY horrible player etiquette. So my action is AIMING the machete, not SWINGING it.))

((Oh. In that case, Verminus Thrax is only kicking this filthy transient very lightly, to move him away without injuring him.))

((The way Verminus Thrax will react if he suddenly finds himself holding a headless corpse for some reason is basically the same, I guess.))

Also, once Daniel Rogers and possibly Nordo Polo return, assuming the situation is merely awkward and tense and has not devolved into some kind of ridiculous Mexican standoff by that time, Verminus Thrax decides that now is as good a time as any for introductions.
"Now is as good a time as any for introductions. I am VERMINUS THRAX, the Warrior of the Wasteland, the Ayatollah of Rock and Rollah, and the Baddest Merciless Mutant Cyborg Warlord to Ever Bestride This Narrow Earth Like a Colossus. I have also been hired to guard this caravan and impose my merciless will on those who deny my magnificent maleficence. I am looking forward to our professional relationship. Who are all of you?"

"Uh, the name's Coleman, Rocco Coleman. I guess I'll accept the guy's job offer, so I'm along to help escort the caravan and patch up any wounds you guys recieve... Assuming I don't, you know, die of infection or blood loss or having a machete wedged in my neck -"This last part is directed at The Roach "-before that."

"The Warriors of the Wasteland was my first ever merc gang. Good times, at least till we ended up in a Neo-Spartan prison camp.

Anyways Nardo Polo's the name, caravan guarding's the game, ask me again and I'll tell you the same! Nice to meet you all."

How's religion going? Are the major ones (Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, etc.) still active?

If you die, we're going to dump you on the side of the road and throw some dirt on you.
