Except that any hero that has been around for at least a little while probably dislikes Contagion for his methods of dealing with crime in the city :P

Well, Argent Gale dislikes their METHODS, but they respect Contagion in general. They're reasonable, not a knight templar.

And of course Argent Gale doesn't really work in the same areas as Contagion does, so they don't cross paths very often.

Wouldn't that be closer to Lawful Neutral than Chaotic Good, though? If they're killing the baddies at the cost of civilian lives, they'd be closer to following the letter of the law than telling it to screw off. :P
