But, as it is invulnerable to all damage, it cannot be broken, only opened. The only Key capable of opening it has been lost to the Ages, although in recent years rumors of a Legendary Key forged by the Gods have begun to pop up...

But the Demon isn't nearly strong enough to defeat Luj'eyel in open combat so simply waits, biding his time and frantically searches for the Key.

Luj'eyel is a 30 year old Kobold and the Demon resents having to constantly manifest as a Kobold to trick Luj'eyel into trusting him.

Or, at least, most of Leen's Priests and Clerics are Kobolds. The rest of Leen is mostly Human with dozens of other Races thrown in. The Demon also doesn't know that only a Mighty Cleric can open the door, as only they would be capable of touching the sheer Holiness of the Artifact.

But his corrupt court has tarnished his righteousness and has blackened his soul, rendering him unable to open the Gate. But he doesn't even know it's underneath his throne. The King's throne is made of pure Adamantine, and it's bolted to a Diamond Floor, rendering everyone unable to open the Gate, as nobody can move the throne to get to it. That doesn't stop the Demon from trying his very best, however.

The Demonic Apprentice is trying his best to circumvent the obstacles ahead but is increasingly frustrated that his minions cannot find the Key.
