Sven Co-op
« on: January 23, 2016, 08:50:24 pm »

The 17 year old Sven Co-op mod for Half-Life was recently released on steam for free. Out of curiousity, how many on this forum actually wound up playing this modification to Half-Life in the past?

I've never heard about it until just now.  Then again I never was really into Half-Life...more of a Quake fan.

I remember having loads of fun with it along with a couple of friends. Some of the maps were really well made and played like short campaigns, with puzzles requiring cooperation and all sorts of crazy stuff.

I never played Sven Co-op, but I did play Synergy back before they screwed it up. I can't imagine how you'd make Half-Life playable in co-op, at least not without making some parts awkward or changing some bits.

But hey, it's free, unless you count the investment of time which I do not have right now.
