It's not really a manshooter. The gun is more of a tool than a gun.

9 month necro!

Noticed this game got a good update yesterday. Main feature is a map that you can unlock parts of as you explore, as well as gardens no longer needing replanting after a couple of harvests.

Other select features include:

- Added Return teleporters to Hobson vaults after watching a few streams where players met untimely deaths in the vaults and lost their gold plorts and Nick almost cried for them.

- Shooting a chickadoo at a gold slime will now knock plorts out of it like other resources. As a note, chickadoos have stated that they are really not cool with this change.

Also it appears that Beatrix now has a face, though her hair looks like a puddle slime(it may be?).

Slime Rancher is having an event right now where you can find gift boxes with ornaments in game.

Incidentally, this event prompted me to finally install the game and start playing. I'd been putting it off because I thought Slime Rancher was still in development, but it is much more complete that I was expecting, with lots to explore, unlock, and discover. Definitely worth the purchase price at this point imo.
