It had been a long day on the hunt, a sasquatch had gotten the jump on us and almost hurt Boshkuc, my friend and bowman.
Luckily, a clean shot to the Sasquatch's head knocked it unconscious, and I gave it a quick death.
When I got back to my village, I shared some of the meat to the local home tree villagers (We're humans living in a forest retreat, kind of embarrassing but it's a long story.)
After that, we were so tired. We went to home tree and began to get ready for rest. Everything was pretty! And the night was so peaceful.
There was only one issue.
A goblin, talking to an elf that CLEARLY didn't want to talk to him.
After minutes of talking about his feelings, I'd had enough.
HelloI'm sure it is, jerk, we're trying to sleep though!Oh, you think you overindulge sometimes? Overindulge in CONVERSATION maybe?
The goblin would turn his head quickly, speaking to both the elf who didn't speak to him and me.
I'd had enough!
Clearly offended, he said somewhat timidly, "I don't know what to say."
I repeated myself again, hoping he would get the hint.
He did, and agreed to be quiet.
I said goodbye and turned my head over, and heard not a single PEEP from him for the remainder of the day. Ah, silence is golden.
[Authors Note]
So the story is exactly as I'd told it, the goblin was SO annoying so I thought "Maybe making it value stoicism would cause it to shut up about his feelings?"
It did, and thus a new appreciation for values was born in my mind!
Funfact, the last picture's captchta was "Silence is golden." What a coincidence!
