Eehh... very seriously if you can afford a lawyer and the issues surrounding a record of having filed suit like that. Which, uh. Folks with notable disabilities tend to get shafted, basically. Along with a pile of other people.

America doesn't actually take that (much of anything regarding worker protections, tbh) particularly seriously unless you're middle class or higher (or in an actually functioning union, sometimes), unfortunately.

I have a pretty sizeable overdraft sitting in my account, and I have until about monday (maybe sooner) to get the money together to get back in the black! Only mildly upsetting because I only had to pay one overdraft fee per overdraft, a fee structure that I thought was recurring daily. I think I can get ahead of it before work starts kicking my ass, between selling some collector's items and doordashing :)

This is not legal advice. If you take legal advice online or listen to anyone seriously online about legal anything, then no matter who you are you are dumb.

I'm just gonna leave this here:

https://civ.ohio.gov/home

https://civ.ohio.gov/how-to-file-a-charge

Yet another thing Government does for its citizens while some people lie and say nothing ever gets done for the average person so everything should be cut. Self fulfilling prophesy.
The political lie from the rich goes, "Nothing gets done and everything should be cut." Lo and behold everything gets cut and then nothing actually gets done because it is defunded. .... [sigh]
Your individual state may vary and depending on several other factors (interstate etc) there may be a federal issue and a federal agency.
All part of the numerous things that get cut when taxes get cut though so.... Keep that in mind. Private firm also possible.
The difficulties you and others face are a sad byproduct of the government and legal profession being cut repeatedly. :(
Rich, insensitive jerks like this guy love rigging things to make it difficult if not impossible for you to fight back and starving the people who traditionally fought this (lawyers).

As you know I can't individually assist you and or do anything for you though.

Thank you Ma'am. I will look into that. I know you want to / have to remain anonymous. You shouldn't have to, but I understand the world is mean.

I have nothing to give you but what my mom told me, "A lady isn't what she wears or how she looks but what she does."

Laptop's keyboard is going on the fritz, insistently spamming -. Near as I can tell, it doesn't seem to be debris or anything, but it's kinda' hard to be sure. Semi-bright side, whatever's causing it doesn't seem to be effecting a plugged in one, and after some finagling, I figured out how to disable the built-in more or less indefinitely.* Still kinda' frustrating, and bodes kinda' poorly for the state of the laptop, blech. It is five or six years old, now, and I did have to replace the non-solid state hard drive sometime in the last year or so, but other than that it's been doing overall pretty decently until the keyboard started acting up.

* At least on win10: Uninstall the driver, but when it asks to restart, don't. If you restart, it'll immediately reinstall the driver and bring you right back to having a glitchy keyboard.

Instead, sign out, then log back in. Keyboard'll be dead as a doornail and stay that way until you restart or update.

Sims 4 has no hand size sliders. I understand that alot of animations are hand-related, so factoring all hand sizes to make sure they don't clip into objects would require a -non-negligible amount of work that may or may not be worth the returns. I am aware of the concept of tech debt. But the small hands on large, burly sims look absolutely ridiculous.

So I got the hand slider mod.

You know, I still don't get why people are bigots. Some strange idea that living your life in a manner to make you happy without harming anyone else is apparently deeply problematic or something.

Sounds like the built in keyboard is dying, not much you can do besides replace the keyboard.

Hate grants purpose. Gives the feeling of superiority. It is addictive.

They do not actually care about who or what they hate. If it can get them that high, they will hate. Simpler, the better. For example "black=bad, white=good" os one of the simplest, no-brainer though processes a human brain can run, and it generates a good, pre-made mental paradigm to feel inherently superior over a group of people.

Ever notice that neo-nazis, or white supremacists are always these useless chuds with nothing going on in their lives? Because being bigots is the only source of purpose they have.

Yes. Although not all of them do it exactly for those reasons. World works on bell curves and some are worse than others. Overall true though and again, bad. Multiple reasons, none optimal and almost all severely flawed with somewhat rare exceptions. (e.g. Schindler's List).

Generally it is a cluster.... Not good, etc. Understatement. Massive Problem and logic short circuit. Gets worse from there.

As a kid, did you know a group of older people (your dad, an uncle, some people they know) and you wanted them to recognize you as part of that group? If you emulate what you see and hear, you probably will gain status, attention, and the release of lots of social-bonding-chemicals... This is how many people self-train themselves to become bigots; they were seeking status within a group and that group's gossip is trash-talk/bigotry. This can happen any time you seek recognition within new groups, in school, work, social gatherings, military training, etc.

edit: Those radio/podcasts that have 2 or 3 people talking as if they are a social group... they work the same way, dragging you into their herd using social-bonding-chemicals. All the lonely people... where do they all go to?

There is something to be said about, if the stakes are as high, maybe reconsider your certitudes. One has to be aggressively allistic to feel entitled to be able to trust. But it won't happen to me, my bit doesn't count etc etc... Just saying, after my recent experiences I couldn't trust the public if I wanted to. People got their risk assessment neurons rotten and replaced with game theory. Folks walk around like fat turkeys taunting the world to slaughter them.

Computer gave me a fright. We're getting solar panels installed and they had to shut off the power unsurprisingly. Got the power back and I turned my computer on, only it hanged during startup. I was beginning to worry it'd been fried by a power surge and the surge protector hadn't done its job when I did a force shut down and start up and it fixed itself without even the usual "Hey, don't shut down on startup" message.

One of my coworkers accused me of spitting on her today. As if my dry mouth could produce enough saliva to spit on someone even if I wanted to. The manager did at least realize the more logical explanation that I pointed out: she probably got hit with condensation from the air conditioning duct. I stand under it most of the day, and it does drip. As for the reason she decided to accuse me, she's one of those people whose behavior towards me for the past few months would be considered harassment. Or at least would if the company weren't massively racist in favor of short, Hispanic women, a category that includes the aforementioned people as well all but maybe three people we've hired in the past 5 years.

You're a good kid. After approximately 20 seconds I probably would have ended that conversation with "the longer this drags on, the more I regret I didn't". If that wakes up the manager out of his slumber and he feels compelled to maintain decorum I'd tell him it ain't my problem that she's too dull to realize that spit would be much warmer. Dead ass.

I still regret to this day not having gone full chimpanzee on some dude who went all agressive enforcing his systemic wage theft on me. I've allways sidestepped all confrontation all my life. It takes effort to get into my face like that. But the next one I'm ripping their eyeballs out with my bare fingers. And there is something truely funny about that. At my last job I made it clear more than once that if people want to play power games, I am happy to oblige so long at least one of us leaves the scene in an ambulance, I don't care who. And when you claim to have all aces, people will get out of your way. Suddenly the overbearing aggressions melts into "pwease I'm scared everybody reaffirm me they're overreacting". This dumbfuck world copes best with male feelings in the form of anger anyway.

Returned from Japan for a few days , and when I was abroad ,I tried to watch some videos on youtube , at  some angles , some videos which criticized China fiercely were objective and original ,such as the videos about  the president Jiang Zemin , made me have a deeper understanding of this distinguished and great guru ,he is honorable and his personal charm attracted me dearly .
However ,after watching that ,youtube continued recommending some nauseous videos to me ,such as the April 6th Demonstration , making me a little difficult to get some useful and neutral information .Youtube should improve it .  So does the domestic video apps , bad money always drives away good money and low-quality content often takes up too much of our spare time .
