Yup, flazeo has done so to great effect.  Want some starting money?
Aye.

I think that I will have a hidden department of re-education.

I think the procedure is that we will vote you in next turn.  Have you decided on a Ministry title yet?  It doesn't really matter, because you can pretty much do whatever you want regardless of the title.

Besides the late replies, I've been dealing with some internet problems. Fortunately, I just got a new wireless adapter which should make it easier to work on the turns. Expect the next one in a couple days (possibly sooner, but I'm working a bunch this week - don't get your hopes up).

Could I get in with a Ministry of Ideology?

I think that while Nunzillor's ministry is propaganda, press and the like, I think my ministry would be more like secret police. Though it's really up to the other players and DBTM to allow it or not.

Well... arguably Ghazkull has secret police covered :P

Or myself... but I'm having funding issues, so it's taking ages.

Sorry for the long delay, friends. Just want to let you guys know that I'm not getting burned out on this game; that's not the reason it took me so long. Part of the reason is it took a while for actions to be posted; this isn't your guys' fault (well, technically it is), but it is part of the reason it took so long. Another reason is I've simply been busy. These turns take a long time to process, and I've been swamped the last couple of weeks (for example, I'm posting the turn at near 3:00 because I was working until midnight. Spent two-three hours finishing up the turn). The third reason is my internet connection has suffered, but fortunately I got a new wifi adapter which has helped ease the problem.

Not making excuses, I just want to reassure you guys: I don't plan on disappearing on this game. It may eventually grind to a halt or be disbanded due to lack of player participation, but I will do my best to keep the gears turning. If necessary, I will recruit a Co-GM to help me manage it (I don't require one NOW, but that might change if more players join and once the stats grow inconceivably large). As long as you guys keep playing, I plan on running it.

I'll plan on trying to get the next turn up within a WEEK of the last action being posted. If you guys want faster updates, you know what to do; and though it's difficult trying to post quickly while trying to coordinate, it'll help to speed up turns (though I suppose if you don't really care about turns being fast, than that shouldn't really be a concern. I certainly don't really care how long each turn takes). As always, let me know of any mistakes; I undoubtedly made a few.

A turn!  My opinion is that you shouldn't worry too much about getting the turns done quickly— it's clear there's a lot on your plate right now.

I had a question about the MoTr's status though.  This is what it says:

Income: +$37,000/week.
Expenses: -$14,150/week.
Balance: -$22,850

Are there costs that aren't accounted for in the status, or should the balance be +$22,850?

Also, did the MoF change how the Budget Act is being enforced through a PM action, or was that entirely your way of fixing problems with the distribution of funds?

After rerunning the calculations for the MoTran, it appears that it was just a clerical error; chaged to +$22,850. Thanks for letting me know.

The MoF never changed the enforcement of the Budget Act via an action; that was a stopgap measure on my part.

Few Questions:
1: How much would supply cost be, if ammo factory fully manned.
2: About the machineguns would each factory need to be refurbished($20,000) to produce it?
