"I wouldn't mind staying low either. They might not even speak English." Wallace says. "Once they're gone, let's go on."

After a bit of time the vehicle drives past, leaving a small cloud of dust in its wake.

Scouting team, elapsed time for your group is only 1.5 hours. Continue scouting for the other 2.5, correct?

Wallace stands up. He joins up with Alan to continue scouting.

Yes.

Alan also stands up, looking after the vehicle for a while. "I'm wondering where they're going and where they're coming from. There must be people there."

OOC: Correct

Alan and Wallace join back up, watching the plume of dust settle back to the ground. Now, shall they head east or west along the treeline?

The pair heads west along the treeline, eventually heading more and more to the north as the land shifts. Not much is seen of human occupation: what few structures remain standing are typically shelled or burnt out, and no vehicles are spotted save a picked over chassis here or there.

After roughly another two hours of scouting the group heads back to camp, arriving shortly after the talk about if they took a radio finishes up.

Wallace enters the clearing to find his teammates all present. Still in the clear it seems.

"We're back." Wallace announces. He takes a few steps closer to group before speaking again. "So we headed south through the woods until met the treeline. Once we got there, we saw a- some sort of Polish Army vehicle with four guys coming down the road. But the thing is, they didn't look like no military force. If I had to guess, those guys were smugglers. Smuggling what? I wouldn't know. So we laid low, avoided detection, and headed on. After that, the rest of the trip was pretty quiet; just sighted devastation and ruin outside of the forest. Anything happen around here?"

As the Colonel and Chief returned, Marshal went to meet them. He jutted his finger towards the Still, at Wallace's question, "Mostly getting this guy running."

"Good to hear that you didn't run into anything too crazy. We spotted a village to the Northwest of here. I think it may be prudent for us to take a look. From a distance at first. Not sure if we need anything in particular, but it might be a good idea to see what their situation is and if anyone's using it as a base of operations."

"Any progress?"

"I can go and scout it out. Do we want contact or no contact?"

"I'd be willing to go scouting again." Wallace says. "But if we're going to make contact, we should put someone who speaks a local language on the team."

The doctor stroked his stubbled chin thoughtfully, thoughts of a much needed shave distracted him for a moment before returning to the question at hand, "I think we should play contact by ear depending on the status of the town. If it's overrun by opfor, I'd rather not open that can of worms."

He looked over at the Spetsnaz "You should take our guest, I imagine a lot more people speak Russian here than English."

As the scouting party returns Lilya stoped erecting a shelter and headed to meet them.
The conversation mosty flew over her head, a mix of word she half understood and the incondensable.

But the jest of it was clear she was to follow Wallace.

"We don't know if we fight therm? Lilya ask's as loads her PKM with a loud clunk.

"We don't know, Serzhant," Alan answers, then takes another sip from the bottle. "We hide until we know. Understood?"
