Inter-Forum Espionage

This is a game about secretly signaling your fellow spies,  while appearing to be a normal forum member.

TO JOIN: Do not post in this thread that you are joining. Instead, PM me and you will be assigned a team. It is important that your opponents not even know you are playing.

Your goal is to post on the Bay 12 forums, in the guise of an ordinary forumite, and identify the members of your own team, while preventing the other team from identifying you. You will do this with help of a secret password, which I will send to all of your team members, and an arena, which will be known to both teams. The arena may be a thread, multiple threads or a subforum, which I will announce.

You will attempt to make forum posts in the arena, using your password (something like "banana" or "elves are better than dwarves") so that your fellow team members will know who you are, but not make it so obvious that the other team can guess that you are a spy. When the game starts I will PM your password, and announce publicly the arena and number of members on each team.

When you think someone is a member of your team, PM them, to confirm. Once you think you know who ALL the members of your team are, or all the ones you can guess, PM me with the roster of your team. Your team will earn a point for every correct guess you make. You may only PM me with this guess once, it will be your only and final score!

If you think you have identified a member of the opposing team, PM me, with only one person at a time, to attempt to Expose them. If you guessed correctly, I will announce their name in the thread, and they will be Exposed: They may earn no points for their team by guessing, and their team members will not earn points for guessing the exposed spy's name.

Once all spies have guessed or been exposed, the game ends. I will tally points and announce both teams' rosters. The winning team gets Internet cred.

You may choose to post outside if the arena, though your team members aren't likely to find your post. You may send PMS to anyone, though be careful who you trust. Outsiders may interfere. The only restriction is that you may not edit the posts that are part of this game (I will assume this is any post in the arena), for example removing you password after making contact with a team member. Breach of this rule will result in exposure.

TL;DR: Get a password, try to inconspicuously use it in a normal forum post so your team members can spot you, and don't let the other team catch you.

Since it seems nobody has anything to add, I'll begin sign ups! We have two people interested already, I could use at least four, with probably 8 to 12 being ideal.

In seriousness though, did consider it, and I don't think the weird posts that result from this game will ruin anybody's fun.

To win, Team One still has to identify a member. Otherwise, it's just a draw.

Team 2's members, Kashyyk and BluarianKnight were both exposed. Their password was "fishsticks". Unfortunately, after BluarianKnight used it several times in a row, My Name Is Immaterial from team 1 caught on.

Wow, that guy can shoot fishsticks out of a guy's mouth! fishsticks! fishsticks! Woo!

Team 1 consisted of My Name Is Immaterial and Cheesecake. Immaterial exposed both opponents. However, neither Immaterial nor Cheesecake seem to have made an attempt to contact each other, and did not guess before the end of the game.
