Proposal: No god may directly kill a sapient mortal.

"That is both too much and nothing at all! Hahaha, I'm impressed by this Paradox! Certainly, even the most basic of Gods can 'in'directly smite as he pleases, an open definition such as this is trivial for beings like us to traverse! After all, creating a boulder, or swarm of beasts, or virus, or countless other indirect assassins is just as simple to us as pulling a trigger ourselves! Hahaha, even then one could simply grant his weapon Sapience itself, asking it politely to fire on his behalf! Yet, on the other side, it certainly restricts the Potential! There are certainly many situations where one would feel the need to kill a Mortal, and I am sure I will find the unfortunate time where blood stains my own hands! Hahaha, and if 'directly' is broad enough to block all my examples, it makes nearly any action impossible!

We must also remember no Council exist, no Law Enforcement or even polite agreement would keep those who disagree with it from disobeying. Hahaha, we can barely come together just to make our Creations a home! I must wonder who you are proposing to! Hahaha, but don't lose hope! There is Potential for you to do this yourself! Perhaps if you researched Smiting, or Mortals, or something to that effect you could find an effective way to actively protect them?! Hahaha, those who agree with you can even assist in this mission!"

My reasons are my own. I do not currently feel the need to discuss them. I am sure that Hevin feels the same, though their reasons may be different.

Let us discuss magic systems! As any Skill, it is well within my own interests to make one Hahaha! But I am sure others feel the same way! Why don't a large group of us make a single, versatile and powerful school right off the bat? Hahaha, with enough support something amazing could be accomplished! Any interest in this? i used to be a mortal before I became a God so I'll admit I might be a little biased and well the only difference in my appearance when I became a god is the clothes and another thing.

A large, versatile school called "Arcane" that can do practically anything if you throw enough energy at the problem. Specializing in Arcane will allow a broader range of spells to be cast, but will be harder to cast or will require more energy. Specializing in a subschool (e.g. pyromancy) will restrict the spells available, but those spells will be easier to cast or will require less energy.

Magical energy comes in discreet quanta called Thaums, which exist in a universal field called the Thaumic Field. Standard field strength is approximately 1 MTh (MegaThaum. 10⁶ Thaums). Using magic will slowly deplete the Thaumic field in the local vicinity of the spell, but the field will quickly regenerate. If energy is drawn from the field in an area faster than it can regenerate for an extended period of time, it may stop regenerating entirely, becoming a permanent "Null Zone" in which magic based on this system is impossible without bringing it in with you. Likewise, it is possible to increase the field in an area to very high energies (more than 1 TTh (TeraThaum. 10¹² Thaums)), in which strange, unpredictable things may start to happen if magic is attempted. These high energy, "Wild Zones" will dissipate over time.

((Half way through writing this, I realised I was ripping off one of my own systems. I decided to just go with it. This'll be the first test of my system.))

[Hevin, God of Vengeance]

Hevin creates another globe of light, but then changes it's shape. It becomes a rod, and then gains a blade.
After a while, it starts to look like an axe with a long shaft, the shape of the blade is altered heavily.
Sometimes he bends some parts, other times he's adding parts, only to then remove other parts.
The axe glows less and less as he goes on to manipulate it. Until it doesn't glow at all, being like a regular object.
