I suppose it's time for a new EU thread, with all the events going on there at the moment.
Let's keep it
friendly, don't get
personal, and if you catch yourself getting into a fruitless
yes-no! or similar debate, please take a deep breath, step back and post again the next day.
WARNING: inciting or glorifying violence against any individual or group of people will not be tolerated. At all.
per special request:
Definition of
- immigrant: a person moving into your country with the purpose of residence
- refugee: a person who is fleeing his country or region in fear of his/her safety, for reasons manmade or natural
- asylum seeker: a person who has officialy requested to be granted asylum according to international lawThe Moroccan Dutch writer Hafid Bouazza (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hafid_Bouazza) wrote an article in the NRC (Dutch newspaper), calling upon the people to:
"Sing praise to the free woman, or sand niggers and swollen scrotumheads will only pollute the atmosphere more here"
(sand nigger is a translation of a curse word used in Morocco to denote the (very dark skinned) Moroccans that live in the Sahara, but which has become a more widely used term, meaning something like 'degenerate, lesser person', which I learned when working with Moroccan people for 10 years)
Geez, I thought Wilders was rascist, but this guy also knows how to fling his terminology. Damn.
http://www.nrc.nl/handelsblad/2016/01/09/wat-een-sukkels-zijn-die-mannen-1574075In the article he claims that rape, and other forms of showing superior virility over non-muslims, is a typical muslim thing.
I took the liberty of translating the piece I linked from the NRC, since I think it's a bit too hard for google translate. That what you get when poets/ writers of literature send letters to the newspaper
Oh, while here in the Netherlands no one frowns at the language used in the piece, I must warn audiences that care about that, that it does have some four letter words, so don't read if you are not comfortable with that
An old Arab saying goes: "When a man gets his dick hard, he loses one third of his common sense".
When my mother first heard that, she surprisedly exclaimed: "Only one third?"
Ofcourse, this is an anekdote about Arab men. De myth of a sensual, tireless lover may seem to be an Oriental invention,
but it is not. It is more complex than that, as we shall see.
THere is a medieval anecdote: A muslim took a Christian woman as a prisoner of war during the crusades. In that same night,
he made love to her 7 times. She asked: "Are all Arab man like this?"
"Yes", he said, and she replied: "No wonder that God granted you victory"
Sexual potence, and God's grace go hand in hand here. Now, these kind of anecdotes are generic, en we will find them in literature of many different cultures.
It is of note however, that ever since the Crusades, the Arabs have pitted their virilence against the assumed weakness of the Christians.
Arabs were surprised about the courtesy with which western woman were treated. That they were allowed to have contact with other men, was seen as a lack of jealousy in the males.
And jealousy was not a sign of love, it was a sign of dignity and honour for a man who could protect his posession.
In literature, one of the prerequisites for being a poet, was the ability to describe a woman. I should write: pre-islamic poet.
But then we cannot but face the big problem of authenticity of said poetry.
In the 9th century, a large collection was established of pre-islamic poetry, written down by philologists that travelled into the desert to both record unknown words from the Bedouin language ('the pure Arabic'), as well as write down their own poetry, and that of their ancestors.
And everything was passed on orally.
Even in that time itself, some of those philologist collectors were infamous, for falsifying poetry, and the present day reader, that gets to read poems of such perfection, cannot but frown.
Note that authenticity has nothing to do with quality, and these (falsified) poems are of excellent quality.
"She turns around and presents a long oval cheek, and parries me with the eyes of a wild animal from Wadjra that just gave birth.
And a neck like an antilope that is not inelegant if she stretches it, nor is it without jewelry"
Yes, an antilope, because the woman referred to is white ('as a polished mirror'), and whiteness was praised high, for it was a sign of wealth: the woman did not need to work in the sun, and could stay in her tent ('sleeping through daybreak')
Until late in the 19th century, white female slaves were the most expensive. They cost between, what now would be 1500 - 5000 euros per woman, more than the beloved Abessinian slaves that cost around 3000 euros - their skin was said to be cool in summer and warm in winter)
Why is this important? Not to show that the Arab man turned from a poetic womanizer into a rapist without brains, reduced to a hard dick. It is important that in the search, or rather, creation of a literary past, praise to women had a central role.
Women were lauded for their nude bodies, without skipping the center point of life. It does not take much fantasy to see this as (an attempt at) liberation, of islam's restricitve vision on women.
Now ofcourse, literature is not reality, and we should be careful not to mix them up,
but people lived with this paradox: If woman were treated like animals before islam was founded,
how could one explain the unrestrained and lyrical descriptions in pre-monotheistic poetry?
In the light of this, it is of interest to note the emergence, in the 8th centrure, of the mukhkhannath, hermafrodite, or transvestite.
We are referring to the transvestite that danced the royal court, dressed as a woman, and surrounded by other men.
Of some of these men, many anekdotes have survived history, which illustrates their fame. Even though those men had a wife, and children (which was a citizens duty by law), it is often thought that these men sought freedom from the restrictive machism that came with the patriarchate.
And thus, islam kept, and keeps both man and woman captive, although the woman's cage is much smaller than a man's cage.
It was western culture, that gave the virile Arab a Romantic glimmer. The 'oriental' painters are well known. And wherever a bedouin was pictured with a woman, she would be white, dressed in white shroud, a picture of purity, and yes, even morality.
Like in Horace Vernet's painting, Judas et Tamar (1840), where the woman sits turned away from the robustly bent over Arab, but does look at him over her shoulder. A coquettish posture. She stretches her hand to him to recieve something, his eyes are focussed on her palm, and his arm is at exactly the same height as his crutch.
She is at his mercy.
And believe it or not, the first person to do this in literature, was a woman!. In 1919, Edith Maud Hull wrote 'the Sheik' (adapted to movie in 1921, with Rudolph Valentino), in which the desert man is a mix of passion and tenderness, whose powerful embrace makes a woman swoon.
In 2008, Sharon Kendick wrote 'promised to the Sheikh', in which the Arab man does not ejaculate until he is sure his woman has nearly fainted from all the orgasms he gave her (not making this up).
Or you can think about the novelmachinegun Heinz G. Konsalik, with titles like 'a rose in the desert', and 'prisoner of the desert'. Or think about the disney cartoon Alladin (1992), the Arab rascal with a heart of gold.
Now the problem with myths is, that the subject will often start to believe in them. The current machism of Arabs, fed by religion and upbringing, is pathological. Being separated from the female sex from age 7 does not create a healthy curiosity for women, but instead creates aggressive usurpators - in the end, men are superior to their sisters and other women. They are their sisters keepers.
And keeper and shepherd are the same thing, which suggests the situation of those poor women is not to be envied.
No one, that has experienced this mentality firsthand can be surprised about what happened in Cologne. There exists a very deep contempt for the autonomy af a woman and her sexuality, which does not stem from a desire for female 'purity', but instead bears witness to the violation of their own 'masculinity': Simply put, a woman should never be allowed to be free, she can only live under the whips and scorns of male domination.
What retards, what pathetic losers, what trash are those Arab men, that they cannot be exalted by the self sufficient, independent, autonomous woman that sweetens the air of life.
They say they come here for 'freedom', but they cannot stand the fruits of this freedom.
I am flabberghasted and depressed, that instead of stepping into the breach for the attacked women, many women are squeaking and wailing out of anger over people mentioning the origin/nationality of the perpetrators.
But this is the 21st century (female bonding isn't what it used to be), where women rather weep over a cadaver of facts, than comfort and caress the suffering of female flesh and blood.
The rapists will be thankful for their support.
Raise a song of praise to the free woman, or the sand niggers and swollen scrotum heads will only pollute the atmosphere and life here even more.
In other news, there's a scandal now in Sweden. Apparently, this summer, at a festival in Stockholm, many young women were sexually assaulted by Afghan men.
The police now admits that they have "kept that a secret out of fear for the extreme-right", after the newspaper Dagens Nyheter (daily news) got onto the story in the light of the new year's events.
The Swedish prime minister says it is unacceptable.
The police now admits that 'large numbers of sexual assaults have taken place, and dozens of men have been arrested".
According to police chief Peter Ågren, "we sometimes do not dare to tell the public what has happened, because we fear that will benefit the extreme right Swedish Democrats party".
