Multiple planets would be interesting if we actually bothered making them different enough to matter, and means of travel between them remained difficult. They'd basically function as continents only bigger.

Not everything, and that's what's important. There were few things we could do on other planets that we couldn't do on the main one but not having those other planets means going without those few things. No point in limiting our fun if it's all free, in my opinion.

Besides, the last time we generated multiple planets we were actually making use of most of them. One was used more than the others but not much more than 50%.

No there isn't. The other planets where just single biomes. There is no reason the snow based race couldn't be put on the same planet as a desert based one.

Eh, I say we shouldn't let every god make an entire plane of existence at the wave of a hand.
It'd be kinda interesting to see several gods make their afterlives on the same plane.
