Clasping her empty pockets, Emily realized it was once again time.

"I'll join."

Of course, last time she was lucky enough to get the entire reward for herself, since whole team kind of stopped living. That meant she didn't need to take another job for a while, but now she might actually have to find a ship for the long term...

Smile has a decent amount of money, and gun is in decent condition.

Morion, you're money's in good shape for about a week.

Dee, you come across an interesting sight of a blob man bargaining or food with a squid-man who sells squid.

Hem, you come across a squid-man selling squid. The sign above says "Eat my Relatives! (Because they aren't family)"

Emily steps back and sits down, not for fear of squid, but because she had the vaguest hint that her actions beforehand had something to do with this.

Study the blob man. Carve notes into my leg with a fountain pen. Casually.

Send my beetle on one last reconaissance trip for anything interesting or valuable in the vents or any accessible circuit boards, if we are inside, then stand about near the teuthic dude.

"Say, how much is your squid, perchance? You wouldn't be interested in selling any of your larger relatives, would you? I'm talking about the Architeuthis rex here, do you have any parts? An eye? A beak? Some ink? I have an interest in, ahem, krakens, you know."

Dee: The squid person cocks his head slightly, and just points back up to the sign. It appears he didn't understand a word you said.

Dee's beetle: You see that the crew that you are with is currently making negotiations with other pirates, or mercenaries, can't really tell.

Everyone else: "Alright, first things first. Smoky, can you shapeshift?
