Cryptic doggerel, its cadence poorly transmogriphied into modern french. It would be a workload to even understand a single page, let alone make sense of the nonsensical. A difficult task laid ahead of Elise.

Morgana followed Oceanus listlessly. The flows of energy within nature, at first chief among her studies, had long ago failed to draw her focus. While plentiful and surrounding her at all times, harnessing it proved an ardous ambition.

Oceanus however appears right at home leading her off the beaten trail as if it was a common thing to do. He leads her along with no apparent goal for a good ten minutes before they arrive at a shelter made of trash and fallen branches. It seems to be quite well used. He turns to Morgana.
"Welcome to my sanctuary. Uh... don't mind any wolves you might see. They're the local pack. Quite nice dogs. Like peanut butter..."

Elise felt a headache coming on as she read through the pages, she tried for twenty minutes to pierce through it in order. Then she tried to find another way, she looked through the book for any kind of glossary so she could at least understand some basic terms.

[Akroma]

((ahh, the local wolf pack of the paris parks, those sure are a rare sight))

Morgana stretches
"That was a nice recreation, I feel so relaxed now, can we get back?"

Elise realises one thing she understood on basic terms - the research of alchemy, especialy supernatural alchemy, would be a long term commitment...

Oceanus rolls his eyes.
"We just got here, relax a bit. Maybe look around a bit. What if... shit."
Oceanus is looking at a hole in the ground. About the size of a flower pot it is...

"What now?"

Elise let out a frustrated sigh, this was a new experience to her. She decided to try and find something easier for now, she rose to her feet and went back to the shelf. This time she picked up the book on witch trials, she headed back to her table once again and tried to see if this was any easier.

[Akroma]

Simple folk is, by their nature lackadaisical, and Elise was no different. The obstacles and fatigue that come before a prize well earned can wash away false determination, like a house built on sand.

[Kansa]

Elise continued to read the witch trial books, seeing if it actually did have anything to with magic.

[Akroma]

Even less than todays newspaper, which contained a horoscope.

[Kansa]

Elise sighed, setting the book aside. It seemed like none of this would be as easy as she was used to. She paused and then turned back to the alchemy book, continuing the difficult path for now.

"What now?"

"Someone took the mandrake! Who would even do that!?"

[SOLDIER First]

Emmett persists in having said mandrake with him.

Morgana had a look of tired resignation on her

"Kay..."

Oliver is laying on her bed her head turned towards the door The bandages on her face and arm are gone and dosent seem to have scarred but the burn mark is quite noticeable on the base of her neck, the nurse opens the door and allows you in.
Oliver smiles and in a quite happy tone.
