The elevator resembled nothing short but a casket. A 1.5m*1.5m box of tinted metal plates, rusty and forgotten, this fishy relic of antiquity croaked and shrieked into unsteady motion. Fragments of their youth appeared before the riders eyes. It can't end like this. It's too soon...

Oceanus politely ignores the staring. Apparently Oliver didn't like him very much. That's okay, sometimes people just don't like you. But eventually he can make friends with her. Especially if they also join the same club. Because then they'll be together for most of the day. It's like a very mild Stockholm Syndrome.
