Elise nodded slowly,
"I guess, if it's safe then" she shifted slightly "Should we head down there then?"

"By the way, are any of you religious?"

Elise gave a small shake of her head,
"Not really"

Christina shrugs.

[SOLDIER First]

"I don't really think there's a god because once when I was ten I learned that sometimes people go fishing with live cats as bait but I dunno, there might be one."

[Akroma]

"I..sort of just hope it's make believe. I mean, even an underground sect of mages might just attribute their magic to gods, right?"

[Kansa]

Elise nodded slowly
"It could be yeah. It doesn't mean it's all real" she hesistated "I guess if it is we aren't exactly doing ourselves any favours."

[Adragis]

"If He happens to be watching us He's probably laughing at how stupid we are for playing with things far beyond our comprehension."

Oceanus the ever blunt rolls his eyes.
"... why is this relevant? If there is a god who cares about this it's far out of our control so why worry."

Accompanied only by a remarkably low amount of resistance, Morgana led her cabal into the bowels of the earth. The anticipation of unearthing this rare palace of the unusual had spurred them on, and the fame and power hiding in its shadow were reason enough to brave the darkness. And, much to their delight, even the exhausting effort of bringing Christina safely down the narrow slope, leaving them at their most vulnerable, was not punished by an assault of the vile undead. The guardian at the gate had already been overcome, and they were here to claim their reward. Having traveled the route before, Morgana picked up the trail to the temple swiftly, pausing only when they once more stood before the temples gate, bathed in dancing shadow from tenuous bleams of their mobile phones, only small beacons of light in the thick suffocating opression of the unknown around them. Searching her pockets for the hastily printed out translation she found this morning, she read:

thou who rejoicest in the baying of dogs and spilt blood,
who wanderest in the midst of shades among the tombs,
who longest for blood and bringest terror to mortals,
Gorgo, Mormo, thousand-faced moon,

Serena, ignorant of the going-ons below ground, is simply taking notes as the lesson continues.

She says, yawning.

Oliver  looks  at her notebook and calmly ignoring the lesson begins drawing a picture of herself and Emmett at the restaurant eating together.

Emmett looks in either direction every few seconds, nervous and excited.
