Elise was on her own bed, she hadn't spoken much to anyone since she had been taken in last night. She listened to the other people talking, using their voices as a distraction from everything that had happened in the last couple of days.

"Well, I found the whole experience so utterly uncomfortable I'd never recommend it, but if you want some out-of-body and -into-animal experience, we can arrange that. Apart from that, unless you can move massive monolithic stones, and at the same time don't have the city of Paris remove them and fine you for it, you are out of luck."

"Well, first you need an animal. And don't take a pidgeon, they have lice and you feel them crawling all over the entire time."

"Well, that's easy enough. Anything else?"

"Well, you cook Amanita muscaria in strong alcohol, idealy something herb based. When all the alcohol has cooked off, you add ground Myristica fragrans, the original genus, not the supermarket kind, and more of the same alcohol. Then, using a sharpened obsidian, and I do mean obsidian, you cut yourself and the animal between the eyes and mix the blood in equal amounts and add that to the brew. When you are ready, you draw the celtic star sign of the seahorse in red paint, idealy something natural, and lay down on it with the animal. You make it drink, then you drink -the order is VERY important- and then..well. Either you die of fly agaric poisening if you overdosed it, or the animal dies because you overdosed it, or you shall inhabit the animals body for a good 12 hours. As I said, I do not recommend. I have no idea what happens if the animal dies while your spirit is in its body.

I think thats it...I may have forgotten a few steps, I dunno, this one was really not something to remember, yuk. I will have to check my notebooks."

Elise let out a small groan, finally rising to her feet. There were bandages wrapped tightly around her face, obscuring the wound that she had suffered the night before. After a moment's hesitation she headed over towards the others. She began to say something but instead frowned, the bandages made it difficult to say anything. So she just remained silent for now, standing on the edges of the conversation.
