Elise stood still, she did not seem to be soothed any by Morgana's words.
"It's banging around in there though."

Oceanus follows after the dog, having no time to waste on things like whether this is a good idea or not. Which should really be expected. We're talking about the guy who tackled a gate after all.

Oliver is snapping her fingers in front of Christina and in a concerned tone.
Um Christina you okay?

Oceanus persisted ever onward, and at the end, the final and first chamber, he finaly unearthed this relic of bygone centuries. The ghost had laid itself to rest in the position it had left behind the trappings of mortality, overlapping the repulsive apparition with its very bones. In eternal slumber laid its master. Bones laid bare by the ravenous gnawing teeth of time, shining in a sickly yellow in the tenuous light of the torch, a dank breeze of wind pipping through the rips clad in rusted, decaying armor. The inquisitions cross, untouched and pristine, protected by higher will against the evil that lurks inmost dangled from his neck, proving his identity and Morganas design.

It was, so it appeared, hunger and thirst that had carried him away, his legs trapped in the cruel machinations of a hatch in the floor. A sudden and unfortunate event, but more than just good fortune for you, as he held open a gate that otherwise might have been lost in time for decades onward. Prolonging the inevitable the dog attempted to save this mans painful existance by bringing him food - and when that failed, serving him in that manner. Or so the dog-bone, clutched in the cadavers hand suggested. A leather sheath laid by him. In a desperate attempt to safe his life, he had removed it from his back, and must have struggled to activate the mechanism to free himself from hsi predicament, that surely was closeby. The blade however, remained strangely abscent. Morganas obvious excitement almost bordered arousal, her entire body shivering with a dosage of adrenalin large enough to cause a heart-attack.

"Yeeeehheesss.....this is him! It must be! Quick, help me find the mechanism, we must get through that gate! Can..can you imagine what might be down there?!"

Oliver is slightly clammy looking and particularly pale and her burn mark is very easy to be seen from here as well as the morphine iv in her arm.Her hair is rather ragged clearly not having been brushed since she got here. Her body relaxes as she breathes slowly in and out her eyes clear with clarity  and in a chiller and more relaxed  yet lucid voice.

Oceanus curiously goes over to the sheath not as intent on magical knowledge as Morgana apparently is. He turns to the dog, then looks back to the sheath.

The dog whined pitifully, lamenting its masters fate. The sheath made no such sound, much to Oceanus composure of mind.

Elise had eventually followed, she stayed a comfortable distance away from the chamber. Simply watching as Oceanus investigated.

Oceanus picks ups the sheath and shows it to the dog.
"Hey boy, where did the sword go?"

Elise hesitated, obviously not wanting to get any closer than she had to. Eventually as she looked at her companion she moved forwards and began to search.

Oceanus years of experience had roused the dogs interest, however he found his efforts abruptly thwarted, as the it first raised and ear - then ran off to find comfort in the darkness. Elise hand had, through sheer accident, sunk into the stone, a hidden mechanism undistinct to the naked eye. Thus rising the hatch, holding the templar in trapment, it set of a cascade of devilish design, sealing off the chamber through a hithertho hidden gate. Ensuring that neither gate could remain open at the same moment in time, a remnant of what might once have been a deadly security mechanism. And, in doing so, she had roused that which had been sleeping restlessly for centuries.

With no living sinew to actuate them, there was naught by hatred and empty, ravenous hunger to move these bones, but neither the biological imperative, nor the numbness of death could override the dominating madness that had bathed this esoteric reality, this epicenter of abhorrent lunacy in all its most terrible guises. Controlled, prodded into an existance by an incessant cacophony of voices - penetrating every level of their being, these corpses are coerced into life...ambling....moaning...

Shaking off the dust of unknown eons, the blasphemous, undying terror filled the underground with a shriek that could freeze blood. A stentorious lament so intense to the senses, even the dead rocks below your feet were trembling. Towering. Fierce. Terrible.

A nightmare, made material.

Oceanus looks at it for half a second. Then he runs for the entrance.
