Elise looked a bit closer.

"This is the cross of Toledo. Formely the insignia of grand inquisitor Franciso Jiménez de Cisneros, later the symbol of the order of Toledo."

Morganas voice with pregnant with excitement and obsession. Whatever it was that made this snippet of historia so important, it wasn't archological interest.

Elise hesitated for a moment, her eyes going to Morgana.
"Why do we want to contact him?"

"Francisco was born in 1436 - and died 1819. As the leader of the inquisition, he came into considerable contact with magic and magicians, and it picked his interest. Under the cover of holiness, he gathered more knowledge than any european mage except perhaps Merlin, if he actually existed. He founded the university of Madrid, which for a long time was a mecca for mages, under the cover of religious study. When his heresy was discovered, he fled, and the order of Toledo was founded with the singular purpose of erasing him and his work. The last written record came from a templar who tracked him down to Paris - and never answered back. Chances are, some of Franciscos work is still intact. You could say it's my self-chosen destiny to uncover it. And this dog might lead us to the templar."

Oceanus in the mean time, has tried petting the dog as much as possible.  Baby talking it as he does so. He likes dogs okay.

Elise paused for a moment, her gaze going back towards the dog. She shivered slightly,
"Wouldn't most of it been taken by now?"

[Akroma]

A numbing, violating sensation rippled through Oceanus arm as his mind failed to comprehend the nature of the way its nerves were stimulated. The sticky, slimey residue lingered on his hand, cooling it down and draining it to a pale white. The spectre, its bounty held proud, made off to whence it came from, falling victim to the plan, hastily leaving a conspicious trail to follow it.

Felicia wastes no time in following the spectre's trail, not watching to see if anyone else followed behind.

Wasting no time on the obvious, Morgana follows the trail without any proclamation or war cry. So tense was the air, frailer, weaker persons might find it hard to move at all.
