Elise coughed as she breathed in the strange smoke, she felt her anxiety growing. She managed to hold herself there though, staring into basin as Morgana chanted.

Morganas voice changed alarmingly, dipping into a barytone grumble, as the dancing, bubbling fluid began to expand from the bowl, stretching out like a living, breathing organism. However the ghost itself, remained elusive

Elise hesitated, her eyes drawn towards the fluid that now seemed to have a life of it's own.
"Did we do something wrong?"

Oceanus looks around. Then he points to the pitchforks.
"Do I need to spell it out for you? Of course the dog doesn't come when you look like you're gonna beat it. They're not dumb."

"Then you call it."

((also I'd like to see the dog that can actually deduct he is going to be beaten, just because a bunch of firepokers are closeby, since nobody is currently ecen holding them))

((its a ghost dog that has existed hundreds of years and, chances are if morgana knows how to weaken it, it's because somebody else in the past figured it out via direct experience.))

Oceanus looks at her before shrugging.

Oceanus nods and gets on one knee before picking up the steak. Then he whistles in a manner that would be typical in calling a dog.
"Here boy, come'ere! We have a nice steak for ya!"

"What? There is no way such an indignified....oh...okay."

A transcendent horror loomed unto the circle, bringing with it the coldness of death. Preserved in the state it left this world, it front leg was missing, seemingly torn off savagely, but leaving it no worse for the wear. Unbound by the trappings of its mortality, the severed stump was moving in denial of any damage, and carried it afloat and with no hindrance.

Elise felt an overwhelming urge to run as she saw the ghostly animal, the memories about what had happened with the mandrake flooding back into her mind. She did start to move but froze as she remembered the circle, she struggled with herself for the moment torn between fear of the ghost and fear of breaking the magic. Eventually with hesitance she stayed,
"What are we planning to do with it?"
