Oceanus shrugs and gets closer to the witch.
"Maybe, but you need it now. Come on, I'll even be your teddy bear."
He says that jokingly but she has a feeling that he would do it if he needed to.

Morgana sighs, tired in such a myriad of ways.

"Can't you at least take me seriously?."

Oceanus rolls his eyes.
"I do take you fairly seriously. If I didn't think you weren't serious I wouldn't be having this conversation with you."

"God, fine, let us waste time on whatever you had in mind then, note I will thoroughly not enjoy myself."

Oceanus smiles.
"Nice of you to come around. Anyways, I was thinking we could explore the woods some then go get dinner. Anything you want to do?"

For a while Elise sat there at her table, watching the other people and feeling the familiar storm of negative emotions inside her. Eventually though before it could overwhelm her she rose to her feet and headed to one of the library shelves. She began to search them for any books on the occult.

"Smart ass, anyways, I was thinking Applebee's since I have some extra cash."

It was an odd thought, when it first occured to Elise to scrounge the city of light for an inkling of darkness in the library. Filled to the brim with light novels and mid-level science, it may yet prove to be a wolf in a sheeps coat. If the mandrake was real...what else might be real? She seemed to be not alone in that question however. The occult section - small as it may be - was already plundered, and picked apart by a vulture with purple contact lenses. Leaving nothind behind, but the driest marrow in the thickest bones, each and every book in this section had been rented, leaving nothing behind but those possessed twice by the library.

Nevertheless, it was a beginning.

For a while Elise crouched there, her eyes scanning the shelves. In the end she picked the book on alchemy and headed back towards her table. She set the book down in front of her, her fingers tracing the cover. It didn't exactly bring up the most pleasant memories but she needed something to help her and anything was better than being trapped with her own thoughts. The chubby girl opened it and began to read.

Oceanus nods and leads the way to his leafy home away from home.
