Get the mood right. This is a normal school were normal students chose normal clubs.

The bell chimes as lunch break comes to an end. Sated but no satisfied on powder-based mashed potato and a grey meat facsimile, the students had time to dwell on their first day that had a dank smell of despondence about it. All the hope they had left to find light in this gloomy, towering monument of fruitlessness was the choosing of clubs.

There had to be something worth in this labyrinth of badly assembled posters, hanging onto the torn-of point on the walls by slips of clingfilm. Tables had been dragged into the hallways of the school, to display and communicate the nature of each club, in front of their corresponding rooms, gratiously lend to them by the school. The students had the whole afternoon to find their calling, and explore this maze of an institution.

But is one afternoon enough, to decide on the rest of this semester?

Melvin, after he ate lunch, ventured out into the afternoon to where the club tables are. Perhaps something would appeal to him; a science club? History club? Maybe something else...

Oceanus looks for some kind of nature club. Or maybe something to do with animals. Or even 4H or the french equivalent.

Christina browses the clubs with an expression of detachment, doing her best not to draw too much attention to herself.

Elise sighed as she walked around the hall. Her route carefully planned to avoid other people, her gaze downwards so she could avoid their eyes. She guess she had to find a club, but it would be so much easier just to lie down. Why were they forcing her to do this anyway?

Elise, seeking comfort in isolation, found her wandering eyes dart across a peculiar sign. Clumsy and effortless, black ink on white paper.

Occult Club
Room 023

The arrow pointed down the stairway, into the schools understructure. An expansive vault of pipes and dust. Was she even allowed to go there?

((indeed it is not getting rolled. Since it is SB, assume his character is into it))

She stood there for a moment examining the sign, then her gaze flickered to the stairs. Eventually she began to head down it, at least she would have somewhere to sleep if it turned out nothing was there.

An intricate maze of dimmly lit shafts unraveled before Elise. There is a place, beneath those ancients towers on the hill, that calls out to the boldest among them. They descent, spurred on by fantasies of respite and peace, to lay bare whatever blasphemous abnormality my slumber restlessly in that cloudy abyss.

But nothing.

More dust, more ashes...more disappointment.

And below, in that limitless chasm of heating and ventilation, she realised the truth of it. She lost her way, and her screams will echo against the pitiless, cyclopean stones...of the darkest school.
