Gotta admit, the story alone behind it was so totally worth it.

If you read about the kinds of evil that keas can wreak IRL, the ones in DF aren't actually that unrealistic.

On a lighter note, I just saw a kea get taken down by someone's pet guinea pig.

!!!! I just opened legends-viewer and noticed a KEA MAN in a NECROMANCERS TOWER! Not even an "animated kea man," so it has to be a necromancer.  They have gained sentience, and realized that htey can steal far more shinies if they lead hordes of undead to our fortresses first.  Truly this menace must be eradicated once and for all!

I actually did some research because I live in the states and don't have any first hand experience with keas.  The lady in this video sounds more annoying than any of the kea sounds I could find, but dear god youtube is filled with videos of keas destroying people's cars: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XIiuu26rr0

You think thats bad? When pirates get implemented, the kea man pirates will be the ultimate force of destruction.

Keas man. They're seriously the most evil thing. They caused more damage to my first fort than the tri-annual werebeasts.

A few years back I actually saw a bunch of keas plunder a human merchant caravan and somehow kill a donkey and one of the guards, taking no losses of their own.
I'm still wondering how the heck that is even possible.

They are forged from evil itself. Their brains are too small to feel anything but greed.

Keas aren't found in the states either. They're found in New Zealand.

Yes. I live in the states where keas do not live, so I had to do research to find out about keas.  I included videos I found of keas mauling people's property because I found them to be entertaining and relevant.
