Yes, to all of it.  What bullshit reason should we give the taxman?

Actually I'd say we shouldn't bullshit the taxman. I'd rather not have to worry about our customers rshing over to the other/ inn in town just because they thing we're the same company or something.

I'd say we shouldn't mess with taxes, we'd likely lose if we tried to do so. As for purchases, maybe we should give people seats and tables to drink at, instead of just standing since that seems to be a small issue for our inn.

That's pretty much it in my opinion. We can fix the bedrooms later, and buying wooden cots for the ruined rooms would be money wasted until we pay up the 150 silver for making them viable.

Maybe go unorthodox and buy the stage for 75 gold and save the rest of our money for hiring someone to entertain poor drinkers?

Who says we have to hire someone? Just start up a little event to let amateur and aspiring bards and such perform for free drinks

That being said, any option under 100 Silver is viable with the remodelling of the furniture and bar at the same time (Just, again, we might want to keep a little bit of a reserve fund.)

Sheb: Well, I have nothing against us fixing up the two bedrooms that are usable, but spending money into the 3 unusable bedrooms feels like a waste until we get enough money to fix them to be usable.

I agree to new tables and chairs. I also think we should swap out the mattresses in the existing bedrooms for more durable straw mattresses since we seem to be going for a lower end clientele. Finally, we should do that sign behind the bar for quest postings.


As for the Quest; Let the patrons know there's a guy looking for guards on the cheap. (If the guy gets robbed, well he gets what he pays for )

Ochita, it's only 25 silver per room to make them usable. Let's fix and add straw mattress to at least two of the three.

Mmm, while that doesn't cost that much, its still money being spent that has no immediate payoff. The rooms already have beds and sheets. Once we pay the 150 to make the rooms stay-able, I won't have any objections to refurnishing them at all.
