Here's a simple solution to this.

You can code summoning programs. But you actually have to Code it and provide some kind of USB with mana in it.
...Then why is the particular character so special as to...Ugh.

simple. Humans have souls. Computers don't. Maximum fundamental difference.

It has been determined that Trump is an average unladen swallow travelling northbound at his maximum sustainable speed of -3 Obama-cubits per second in the middle of a class 3 hurricane.

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

In this setting, you aren't even sure magic exists. Why would you be confident with it to the point of fucking programming magic summoning shit? That's retarded.

If demons are a thing, then chances are hell and heaven are a thing. So yeah, souls are a thing.

This could be fixed by litteraly having to know how a computer works making it extremely difficult until you are powerfull and knowledgeable enough to use it.

@PN: You wouldn't, you'd stumble upon it and hope you've caught all the exceptions.

Abstract is reminding me of an important thing here. This may, simply, not be what a computer is designed to do. It is flipping numbers, not channeling energies to bring upon otherworldy entities

it's like trying to refridgerate you food with a computer. You can code all you want, the computer simply lacks the functionality

Yes, but with the right peripherals, you CAN refrigerate your food with a computer.

So you'd have to have the hardware, but the summoning itself wouldn't require you risking your head?

You could feasibly make a device thst could summon demons but not a normal computer unless it's heavily enchanted or magiked heavily to summon that specific being.

There is a demon being summoned, you basicaly always risk your head, and worse, no matter how its done.

And I assure you, unless the demon is a nerd, he might find the method of being downloaded from hell respectless.
