We continue from proposal 7.

I made a typo in one of my proposals that I'd like to fix, unfortunately, but I'll try to fix that with this one.

Proposal 7: Alter Rule 20 to read as follows: In order for a proposal to pass, a proposal must have votes on it from at least half of the players in the game, in addition to any previous proposals.

If you can't see the difference, I had too many uses of "at least" in it.

Proposal 8: When a new player joins, the first vote they make will be twice as valuable. It is still a single vote, but it counts as two.

Gotta give some incentive, I guess.

Proposal 9: With the exception of the first and second posts, players are not allowed to edit their posts in this thread.

That one ought to encourage me to do things properly the first time.

You should amend proposal 9 to something along the lines of edited posts being ignored during the judge's vote count, and proposals made in edited posts being automatically invalid.

Hm, yeah I guess that seems better. Opposing proposal 9.

Proposal 10: Edited posts are ignored during the counting of votes, and proposals made in edited posts are invalid.

Proposal 11: Electors may vote in a new Holy Emperor with a clear majority vote, and may oust an Emperor with another clear majority vote.  Only Elector Votes count.

Support Proposal 10.

I support proposal 11.
I also support proposal 10.

Proposal 12: The first person to post a haiku in this thread each turn gets one Haiku Point. A Haiku Point may be spent at any time to make a currently active proposal no longer supportable(players cannot support it) for the remainder of the current turn.

I support proposal 11, and oppose proposal 12.

So crazyabe, got any ideas for proposals? There's not yet any penalty for a failed proposal, so feel free to go wild honestly. You've spelled the word proposal wrong in case you didn't notice. I'll be accepting the votes anyway, even though I probably shouldn't.

I Oppose Proposal 13.  All fun, except the voting restriction.

Likewise, I oppose Proposal 13 for similar reasons. I was interested until then. There's no penalty for spelling things wrong anyway as of yet.

Amusingly however, your proposal would technically make Crazyabe "The Forum Idiot", not crazyabe(you) which was probably your intention.

Crazyabe does not currently play this game if they do exist, so the rule wouldn't actually do anything yet, other than open up the position and fill it with a null result...

Why do I suddenly almost want to support this proposal. Yeah. On second thought, I support Proposal 13. We can amend it later to hash out any problems.

Proposal 14: In order for a proposal to be passed, it must have supporting votes from at least two separate individuals.
