So yeah RpGeek, if you're leading, feel free to make up the city as you go along. Civil buildings and the homes of nobles are on the cliff tops- everything else is free to be filled in by myself and players as the moment happens.
My general rule of thumb so far is that most bridges shift every five to ten minutes, and there's twice as many ladders as stairs, and twice as many stairs as ramps.
Edit: Little by little we are fleshing the rules. Next up, money!
I was planning on using the pathfinder system, as that has basically everything bought and sold, hired or serviced, whilst still being in a free srd.
My only problem so far is that it assumes giant wads of cash spewing from the wounds of monsters fought.
I attempted to fix that (and may have) by making everyone pretty poor. (so 10k gold is not normal, let alone entirely feasible).
So, I guess to start with- how well paid is Ghamina, and was she paid in advance, or has Nabih been handling her financing?
Let's say Corporal is paid 4 silver a day, no room or board. (Meaning Larok made
36 silver off his little wager).
However Larok would've earned about 81 silver from a season's work, which earned him 3 silver a day, minus rest days.
I assume Nabih would've borrowed a decent amount- maybe 500 silver, which has then dwindled a little over the journey.
Whilst the biggest issue would be Riskiss, who'd have made an absolute killing on liquidated jewellry (that stuff's expensive)- but considering time, and extravagant tastes, might be seeing that rainy day fund drying up.
Any thoughts or concerns on this stuff so far?
