I forgot to ask this before, but despite the fact the game's system is a modified form of FATE, can we still call FP usage when we think appropriate?

For invoking aspects and vetoing invokes only.
If you think an aspect applies to a situation, go ahead and mention it, as you get a free +1 instead of the "bought" +2|rr of normal fate.

However, his aspect is "prided on professionalism".
I mean; in context, the guy gave a special recommendation, Nabih looked at it, turned back, and asked if they could recommend someone else.
So I gave the haggling penalty.

That or as a GM your character has been far less curious about her than I expected and all of my prepared speels have gone out the window and I'm subconciously punishing you for your character's justifiable prejudices.

But I doubt it's the latter.
