Your first focus will only be able to build the fort or attempt to reclaim the sea,  not both.

The thing is, I don't think we can really re-take the sea yet, but I'd like to have our ships harass any landing parties. Could we combine that with a fort?

The Fort would be able to harass any attacks made at it before the actual attack,  including naval ones.

Well, building a fort on the West Coast might be nice.

Sorry for double post. Kashyyk, if we steal the British revision, is there a way to choose which one? Can we give an order along the line of "steal last version of their rifle"?

You can choose to steal their revision action result,  or their revision credit result.

Which one is the first one?

As I see it, it's a gamble. They probably spent the first one on their rifle. If it was good enough, they would have spend the second one on something else, otherwise they would have doubled down.

Trying to guess what revision was used for the rifle and what was used for something else (or for second rifle revision) is too risky...

how about:

1) Produce more 8lbs cannons
2) Espionage - Steal loyalists's current turn design
3) Focus one: Build a fort and protected port at the peninsula that was attacked the last time.
4) Focus two: Attack fort Alton from three directions to cut off that bulge near Bradford
5) Offer our brig to USA.
6) Invent some exotic goods for Brits (anyone for the task? We can't give it without a fight)

1) is necessary to not fail badly in land battles and make construction of the fort easier. We are likely to lose ground to monarchy because of our focuses, more artillery should help our defence somewhat.
2) is good because we will get either a) new vessel or b) new logistics project or c) something useful in land battles. Only two bad options here are cavalry weapon (if it is not cheap) and their own uniform design actions. I doubt it is likely. Loyalists are always ambitious so even their failed designs will give us techs.
3 is to deny good landing spot for loyalists and have a base of operation for future reconquest of the sea. (I think revising gunboats can win us our shore back)
4 Is too teach independents a lesson and remove the threat to our city
5 is an obvious step
6 any ideas?

Hm... second thought... Do we even get a benefit from using production credit on 8pounders? they have 2 ore cost.

I disagree. Stealing one of their revision has the same benefit as stealing their design. Except it's likely ot be either the rifle, or an improved version of whatever they designed this turn.

The 8lb guns are cheap from now on, so you won't gain anything from making them even more ubiquitous.

Right. Well, given our plan, spending it on the Victoria or the pistols seems like the best to do.

1) Produce more air pistols for one more turn of cavalry superiority
2) Espionage - Steal loyalists's revision (not a credit)
3) Focus one: Build a fort and protected port at the peninsula that was attacked the last time.
4) Focus two: Attack fort Alton from three directions to cut off that bulge near Bradford
5) Offer our brig to USA.
6) Invent some exotic goods for Brits (anyone for the task? We can't give it without a fight)

How about it?
I think air pistols are better than Victoria's because fort Alton cavalry has cheap cavalry weapon.

I think original revision is more likely to be used on rifle and they spent credit on something else (like fixing the failed design of the current turn). And I want the rifle not something else. It will be embarrassing if they'll go for double revision of the rifle and we get the inferior version but I think it is highly unlikely

I was gonna make a trade card advertising native glassware. I haven't started yet though, so if that's too boring I'm open to suggestions.

Agreed on the pistols. We need parity with Ft. Alton, and they've giving the monarchy (and the poorly-conceived loyalist landings) a lot of trouble. Combined with the better riding equipment our cuirassiers should be pretty dangerous.

UR, you were willing to steal their design, and now you want to steal the first revision? I'd say go for the second.
