We should use the advantage while we have it, so I say we press the loyalists and fort combe

I have to say, we're being pressed very hard on a lot of sides. Has anyone considered attacking Alton? They're being a bit of a problem right now.

Alton make a useful distraction and unlike the former independent fort Comble they have more land and very close to Bradford so I'm sure the Confeds will treat them as a threat. Loyalists will likely make another land invasion and if they do that force Confeds hand to defend against them meaning their back complety turned to us. While we could try to sneak attack loyalists fleet if they do indeed focus full attention on Confeds if we attack on two fronts and overun Comble and take some Bradford land. So if loyalists do gain beachhead if they do indeed attack and we steal land that put Confeds in rather dangerous postions. Reasons why I think we should attack loyalists is they would then try to land invade us if we keep it up, plus if we keep our navy at bay for now attacking us might be risky since were only side that can damage them.

Alright, you guys are mostly agreed on spending one focus on attacking Dunwich,  but haven't decided how. What are you doing with the other one?

I propose we push towards fort combe, and use the other focus to attack the loyalists

Attack the loyalists how? Cause rushing towards a city like last turn will get our fleet decimated, unless you mean control open water or attack any land invasion they try on confeds?

Control open water
Well I can see advantage of being able to attack their ports if we gain some control of open water, but couldn't it risk loyalist engaging in sea battles for next few turns then which would benfit the confeds. On otherhand attacking bradford would gain us territory but if loyalist do land invasion then we would of end up helping them by weaking the Confeds so tough choice?

Two things:

1. Some sort of fleet in being is always useful
2. Naval bombardment is always useful, even that will take a captain taking on a howitzer instead of cannons.

So we go with attacking Fort Comble through Atternon territory and attacking Loyalist fleet in open seas then?

I agree on pressing Fort Combe and attempting to grab some control of the seas.
