Assuming the cannon is of the right size (ie 6lb) they will be refitted automatically. If you want a different type/size of gun then you will need to revise the ship for it.

Edit: any form of consensus for your revision?

We need to rename the 'Imperial' cannon, by the way. I'd say 'Aurochs' because it's big and strong but it also predictably falls into my theme of suggesting wildlife as names.

And does anyone object to letting the Americans have a look at the designs for the Mulard? I'd be surprised if any existing technology beat it in terms of impressing investors, and a strong USA hardly hurts us, does it?

Wouldn't revising our Samara be waste of revison since theres much more better things we could use it for, also our only trading ships would be gunboats so they be towing the mulard to America. I still say we should get newer trade boat or get extra resource to benfit us in long run. Plus even a revised samara wuoul get defeated by the Confeds existing weaponary.

What? We don't get to choose the reward, it's a set prize.

Didnt mention anything about choosing a reward said that we should focus our revision on getting a new resource or making a trading ship.

flazeo25 just curious are you trying to follow some kind of "turtle, hoard resources, to fund an explosive expansion" strategy?

Not really just trying to get our basis covered, we had the design phase to make a new rifle but made a weak carbine instead so instead of getting a rifle for revison we can steal loyalist rifle since they probally want to work it since they have two revision credits we can just steal it and if they didnt work it on then we still get good tech from it. As for the boat the priates are going to be big problem when trading since trade type mulard would do much better to get by on the otherhand if we got extra resource instead for revison we could bring down cost of mulard and cannons a good bit.

In the international thread kasshyk said that they can't pirate the blueprint boat

I didnt mention pirate at all meant to protect it. Since whatever were sending to america still has to be transported the pirates can easily beat our gunboats and then we wont have anything sent.

We could probably send a mullard as an escort?

flazeo I honestly don't understand what you're getting at. We send the design and the Americans send us ore. That's it. No movement of ships on our part.
