Long live the king! May his grace ever cause the dice to fall in our favour.
As for the Bess and the Mk 1, we might as well obsolete them, the Mk. 2 is better than both in every way.

Why do we have extra resources? Is it a thing we do every turn from the funicular network rather than being a one-off?

You are choosing the resource provided by the funicular.

Ah okay, I didn't realise that we got to choose every turn. I would say ore since it's the cost factor on just about everything we have.

And produce more Mulards to try and regain the sea a little? It's something we've been consistently neglecting.

Wood would have revality little use as resource other than it might make boats cheaper but we tend to spend more on ore anyways.

Ore is very handy for plating on ships and other stuff while it mainly affect our cannons and weaponary.

I say we need coal as our mulards are running on small use of coal and we need one resource tomake it run on high levels and to benfit future steam projects.

Actually the Mulard doesn't use any coal. It uses 4 ore 1 wood.

Just did some checking on our tech based on complexity and missing resource before choosing any resource.
Spoiler: before resource added (click to show/hide)
If we get ore resource then they become:
Complexity wont go down with new resource unless we use a design or revise for it but would make our Mulard, gunboats, all our cannons cheaper. Brown bess can't get any cheaper and other two guns have complex which why their not affected.

Both the Cricket and new Samara would be cheap before and after if we ore. which means that everyone can be equiped one so produciton focus wont be need on either.

I think we should obsolete old Samara and Brown bess as both are dearer and useless now.

Yeah it make it very expensive so we could field more than 1 per turn if we don;t use a production on it.

Also any thoughts on trying to make a sort of Pyréolophore as a design?

So I propose that we use production on the mulard and get ore, which would bring it down to expensive

You now have access to two ore.

You will produce the Mulard.

Begin Espionage Phase
