Alright, so we'll land near montgomery and then push towards the city next turn. Sound like a plan chaps?

I'd rather not. It's relatively close to the front, and the enemy might expect us landing there again

Well, this is one of the questions. We should probably consider this in two terms - enemy strength and enemy strength.
Firstly, we have to take their military strength into account. Dunwich is clearly militarily stronger, and therefore the worse target.
On the other hand, they always have, and continue to, advance. A balance on the island benefits us, since they will mostly cancel out. This is a reason to attack Dunwich.

In total, I support landing somewhere between Montgomery and New Dunwich (how about the north coast?), and directly building a fort since I believe us keeping the bridgehead is very important.

Too be fair, it doesn't matter where we land, since we have total domination of the seas. We switch our attacks to support the weaker of the mainlanders whilst making gains for ourselves though.

Also, if we are going to sell a ship to the US, sell the london-class. It'd be a great middle finger to atterton atleast, and we already have proof of it's effectiveness in battle.

I was thinking about punishing atterton for thinking they can invade us, but dunwich is fine too. Just as long as we actually succeed, because I am starting to feel claustrophobic in this island. the empire needs a place in the sun! lets go conquer.

No we need to keep the balance on the island, so I support attacking Dunwich between two of their cities.  This will force Dunwich to withdraw forces from the main lines given the monarchy a chance to push back.  When the Monarchy becomes the strongest power we can attempt another landing this time aimed at them.

I also support giving the London class to the Americans as it is our best ship and we know it works.

Giving waitlisted people the ability to murder non-responsive players was a great idea. Need to do that more often.

We want to get more rifles for the army, right?

If we want more rifles for the army, we make the rifles cheaper by design

that or the bomb ketch I always wanted, but right now I prefer the cannon.

so, all in agreement for blockade and an invasion of dunwich between montgomery and new dunwich?

Aye, count this as a +1 from me.

And any ideas on what you want with the new cannon?

We probably want a carronade, so that our ships can pack far, far more of a punch, or a better field gun, as we are lacking in that department aswell.

Why not a cannon that can assumably be used as both?
