I'm okay with steam engines if we make our infantry guns better with our revision, we need a better land force.

As for what we are giving/trading I say pearls and York cutters.

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

How about we export all the trade goods, including those of the other nations.

I don't recall seeing any design submissions in here yet. Perhaps we could have some?

Steam Engine

Though the benefits will take at least 2 turns to realize, it would allow us to make great advances in making our naval units cheaper, as well as any future weaponry.
Consider this a +1 from me, though navally it'll take more than a little effort to get something battleworthy that's better than a sail ship.

Afaik, the general consensus seems to be a steam engine.

I'm okay with steam engines if we make our infantry guns better with our revision, we need a better land force.

You guys already know my vote is for the steam engine(been trying to get that for the last 2 turns).

Basically, the idea is an industrial steam engine, which gives us additional resources as well as experience with steam.

Specifically, driving factory equipment and powering mills. Don't forget to specify that.

We proably already have some experience or at least idea how those things work.

Quote from: Robert-Watt Engine
A fixed steam engine, utilising the same modifications James Watt used to improve on the Newcomen Engine. This engine improves industrial output by pumping mines and driving mills. You gain one additional resource.

Low Pressure Steam Engine

Alright, you rolled about as low as you could unfortunately, but as you focused on nothing but the engine and were developing an existing technology, there was no way you couldn't get it.

So, do we get that revision credit, and if so, do we get it now, or later?

Imperial Rifle Mk. I Mod AA

An attempt at improving our rifle, by giving it a reinforced and improved breach. In addition, attempts are made to make mass manufacture of the rifling easier.

I was a bit distracted in the last few days. Did we get a revision credit to compensate the rule change or not?

either way, my vote goes to try to fix our rifle. sturdier and cheaper breech above all. Then cheaper rifling.

pre-edit: I forget to post, and then I am ninjaed. well, +1 to ebbor's proposal, which is the same as mine.

I believe we will, though noone has answered to the second round of Kashyyk asking for opinions.

Assuming we get it, what do we spend the other revision on? Currently, I have four ideas:
- Introduce a limited-rifling Brown Bess variant. Cheaper than the Imperial Rifle, and should still be efficient. Basically a Samara but with more experience in rifling.
- Improve the range of our 6lb cannon. Introducing limited rifling (not to the extend of RMLs). Or possibly lenghtening the barrel.
- Improve our London Class ships. Probably by increasing speed and manoeuvrability; maybe through copper plating (although the whole Royal Navy had been copper-plated at this time, our ships may not have been).
- Improve the Rifle again.

If we double-revise the rifle and get not-bad rolls from it, we're totally going to be safe and competetive with it at least until bolt-action rifles come up.
