True, but without being able to specify which revision, since we had two, it'll probably be more difficult for them.

Besides, the AAA has more than a few issues remaining anyway.

what do we steal? there is nothing I really want. Maybe the dunwich 8 pounder? especially if getting that also gets us their canister shot.
or perhaps we could steal the cost reducing tech of pirate faction.

Well, depending whether espionage did get changed, there'd actually be a practical application in stealing the mulard given that it could shorten our own steamship development.

There's also the victoria II air rifle. By itelf, not that impressibe. But if we combine the magazine feed technology into our own rifles...

I could see us stealing either the Mulard (useful for getting access to paddle wheels and metal ship hulls) or the Dunwich Canister Shot (80% range? Hell yeah). Alternatively, we could steal one of their revision or design actions of this turn.

I believe that's not actually a cost-reducing tech but is just a slightly optimized 6-punder, i.e. it wouldn't help us much.

The mulard lacks a metal hull at this stage. It's more or less wood. (If it was metal we'd have a much harder time sinking those things.)
