Luckily it seems the Doc isn't totally incompetent.
EDIT: might not be a bad idea to differ to Lt. Col Kepler on military matters >.>

Oh, I just rolled up the second GMPC. Aged 25, speaks Czech(sorta), was in the navy and carries a large Pig, which I am going to say he took with him from whatever crash he as in. Possibly one that occurred shortly after picking up Gordon?

Also, Funk, yer starting off as a nominal prisoner, hope thats OK.

A crash is a good way to explain how two US Navy guys ended up inland.
I'll hopefully get around to spending my cash soon.

Oops I think I did cascade skills wrong. I mistakenly just spread out the points in between them (surgery/diagnosis/trauma) but you're supposed to pick one to specialize in, and the rest get half value.

So instead of spreading them out:

Medical (Diagnosis): 3
Medical (Trauma Aid): 4
Medical (Surgery): 4

It should probably be
Medical (Surgery): 10
Medical other (Diagnosis/Trauma Aid): 5

And my small arms should be
Small Arms (rifle): 4
Small Arms other (Pistol): 2

Armored or non?
Not armoured, with 2t capacity. On the other hand, with the new vehicle we get, I'll wait to see what it will be.

Ooo just saw this. Never played twilight, but I did play the Twilight 2k video game from the 90's way back when.
Still taking characters?
Welcome on board!

[GEAR]
I'll look through it later, especially with the other stuff we need.

@Aseaheru: Can we load a 2t still onto two 1t trailers and just hook them up when camping?

If I understood it correctly, you can also apply points to the other skills. In your example, this'd be for example:
Medical (Surgery): 6pts spent: 6
Medical (Trauma Aid): 3pts from Surgery, +3pts spent: 6
Medical (Diagnosis): 3pts from Surgery, +2pts spent: 5

Of course, the more effective way is to spend them like you've already done.

Yay for a Mechanic!

Yah, cascade skills are evil things.

 P1, nonarmored, allrighty.

Still can be split in two in return for it being non-operable on the move.

Let's see what other vehicle we get, first. Will you roll for one? I think we're in agreement about taking a vehicle, not the animal.

It's not operable on the move anyways (check p. 152).

That's alright, now what was alone Spetsnaz Serzhant doing with a truck full of ammo...

I've just reread the skill tests and found at the skill of 0 is apparently just basic familiarity with the skill.

and forgot that i have  Grenade Launcher skill: 0

Cascade skills? more reading...

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.

Unofficial slogan of Bay 12 Games.

Oh man, do we really have 4 vehicles between 6 people + 1 "prisoner"?
That seems like a lot!
Luckily we all seem to have some driving skills.

There was a seventh person, but it appears they may have poofed.

As for ideas why Spetsnaz is off with a truck of gear in the middle of nowhere, ambushed? Perhaps they where hauling over some gear, since the Vodnik is basically the Russian equivalent of a cargo HMMWV...

Not really, no. I wanted to buy an additional vehicle when we only had two (since a medium still is 2t), but right now, I don't need to. On the other hand, if we'd exchange the Wolf for a Defender, we'd get 1.3t more load, and a bit less fuel consumption, at the cost of less travel speed when not in convoy; a situation we're unlikely to encounter.

I've just reread the skill tests and found at the skill of 0 is apparently just basic familiarity with the skill.
A skill of 0 means you roll against the controlling attribute only; against a D20. A skill of 1 is attribute +1, etc. No skill in something means every test counts as double the difficulty, basically halving your chances to succeed.

Sorry, wolf is staying unless the seventh dude actually has poofed. And then it will get removed, due to lack of people for three vehicle die.
