I rolled a... 14  ::)

I want her to be part of the party, but I'd rather not just give a pile of weapons to her... just yet :)

Maybe we can compromise on a pistol?
I said that i wanted a weapon so yes that will do.

Does anybody know how large 1 hex is on the map? Also how will scouting work? Will we just march in one direction (N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW) for 4 hours?

(Do we have a travel plan, we can't stay, not with out some long term plan)
Maybe find relatively stable and safe place. The problem is we don't know where that place may be (or at least our characters don't know).

One tile is roughly 20km.

My general thought is to head to Kalisz.

My Character has shared that remnants of the 5th might be located there, so there is a good reason for us to prepare and head in that direction.
Funk's character has also stated they were originally headed there to deliver supplies.

My bet is that Aseaheru has at least planned a few activities for us if we head in that direction  :P

Eh, I got activities planned for whenever you wander into a crowd of hostile troops a town that there was significant fighting over.

Most directions I just have very hazy ideas.

For this scouting mission, I'd skirt the edges of our hex, checking for patrols, terrain etc. Ideally, use binoculars to check  free spaces in the other hexes. Starting in the south, then moving clockwise.

Allrighty then. When everyone is ready for this four hour period please state what you are doing, and if an officer, order the GMPCs to do something.

-edit-

Also, it appears that I missed wear values for the vehicles. As a result, I have just rolled for them. The Vodnik has a wear value of 5, the HMVWW is on its last legs with a wear value of 10, and the Unimog is at 6.

Harry Gaylord is listed having a "M60(to be mounted on vehicle)". Is the M60 already on one of the vehicles?

I dont think I picked the right sport for this game. Mostly due to the fact that there is now a lake roughly where you guys are camped, which makes using maps hard.

Aseaheru it's the starting spot you can easily move us along, hostile patrols, radio messages, villagers telling us about stuff..

You mean the Jeziorsko reservoir (51°47′13″N 18°39′30″E)? According to wikipedia, it's been built in 1986, so it's probably also existing in-game. This can be solved by assuming that the dam got blown up in the fighting, or by slightly moving our starting position (51.934072, 18.472492 looks nice, for example).

I blame the European campaign map. Which was made the same year as that dam. :P

Though, it probably would have been blown up in the fighting...
