I think both GMPCs should buy 5.56N unless someone creates a more detailed plan. If Pi or Knave don't have the money to buy the landrover and trailers, then have the GMPCs by 2 trailers and spend the remaining on 5.56N.

Also do you have a hexless version of the map?

Regarding Language:
Quote from: Page 138
Language: Communicating in a given language is Difficult: (average of the speaker's Language and the listener's Language). Communicating in a language the character does not speak, using his skill in another language of the same group is Formidable: (average of speaker's Language and listener's Language). (For example, using knowledge of Polish to speak to a Czech.) Both the previous tasks become one degree easier if attempting to communicate very simple concepts ("I'm hungry"), especially if sign language is used to help ("Where are we?" while pointing at a map). Identifying languages: a language of the same group as one the character speaks (Difficult); a language of the same family (Formidable). Groups and families are shown on the Language List (pages 47 and 261).
Should I roll for language asset too?

Funk, can you make a language test against a... 6?
(18 on a 20d, this is a simple concepts right?)
Not really, no. Also, thats off by atleast ten, can you roll again to see if it was really cocked up?

Should I roll for language asset too?
Go ahead. Also, feel free to order the underling with slightly better chances of conversing to do so.

Although... average of 10 and 4 is 7, difficulty of formidable... three? Ouch. Never mind, underling wont be able to talk.

Man, I wish I found that extra gear bit before starting this... A english-russian dictionary would be awesome right now.

I saw that on the Paul Mulcahy website, but truth be told... I like ramping the difficulty up for myself in games (Sorry team).
Although... average of 10 and 4 is 7, difficulty of formidable... three? Ouch. Never mind, underling wont be able to talk.
Funk's character has an English asset of 3 (1 English skill and 2 CHR) and my character has an English asset of 14 (10 English and 4 CHR).
Wouldn't it be:
Using assets: (14+3)/2 = 8.5. So 8 and below for difficult tasks and 4 and below for formidable tasks.
Using language skill only: (1+10)/2 = 5.5. 5 for difficult and 2 for formidable.

Either way 18 is way above those single digit numbers.

Alright, thats good enough to get your questions across, as Funk has responded to already.

The language rules are really setup for talking to NPCs, and break a bit when its just PCs...

I think that some on is going to get intensive English lessons soon.

As Knave passed the roll, im sending him the English text of what i just said.
Now what do i roll against to understand Czech by useing Russian?

Harry has CHR:10 and Czech(4)
so that 14 vs my 2 cha, so the roll is (Assets (14+2) /2 = 8 or less)
20, the dice hate me.

We could try:
Quote from: Page 138
Communicating in a language the character does not speak, using his skill in another language of the same group is Formidable: (average of speaker's Language and listener's Language).
Arron has Yiddish 10 and CHR 7 and Funk has German 1 and 2 CHR.
(17+3)/2=10. 5 or below to pass. 25% still isn't that good though.

I am going to say that, for talking to other players, its all on the speaker. Mostly to reduce failed rolls and to save time.

And also to lessen deadly insults to other PCs. Yep, thats what I am viewing crit fails for talking as.
