Try turning everything off then on again.
This, and if all else fails, hit it with a large object.
+1
You're the biggest "object" in this room, which is saying something. You could go outside to look for an actual object to bludgeon your own equipment with, but you'd rather not open the doors without some muscle. Especially since the apparatus for finding good, safe door locations is probably as broken as everything else.
So you do the only thing you can: You power everything down, back to a nice, quiet sleep that will hopefully clear some things up.
While you're waiting for that to come up, you've got a few self tests to do.
...
...Pins. "Those who must" are called Pins. Informally, or well, sinisterly; you're not supposed to tell them that until you're giving them a villainous monologue about how they've served their purpose. There's more formal terms to give to them, but as you recall they're mostly whatever they want to be called.
...
Yeah, you're not getting a lot in terms of actual terms. The connection is down but you're still not used to operating without it; maybe something would jar your memory if you could operate with the... with this down at all times. Til then it's an irritating blank spot, or an infuriating spike pit once you power everything back up.
A quick check confirms that this solved nothing. Your problems are
probably due to physical damage or insidious parasites rather than temporary discombobulation.
If all that fails, open the casing and look for a battery. Else try opening command line and find the manual(book, paper).
This would be funnier if you knew what power source you were drawing from, if any. The
ERROR...the place you're in is self-sufficient, that's kind of the point. But to start doing more advanced stuff, you start needing external goodies. Normally this would all be nice and visible so you could tell what you've got to work with, but with diagnostics down you could be completely on your own or plugged into unlimited power.
In related news, you technically are the command line and manual, and the parts that aren't ain't working. You can get stupid specifics about precisely how each component is failing to respond, but there's nothing more you can get without repairing
ERROR...without repairing some things.

Have some words:

-) KnowsWhatsGoingOn.

-) tutorial-Level.
These aren't even words.
-) Obedient.
-) Insane.
((I think we get 4 words. Given that the title says tactics, we should probably try role names.))
Lancer, Aegis, Gunner, and Fixer.
Okay, so that's six. A "proper" list... list of
ERROR...
So you can't even call them that anymore? This is bad; it confirms that the connection point is so badly mangled that it's actually harming your ability to function rather than aiding it. Simply
failing would be serious, but to panic like that is sort of the difference between not working and burning your appendage when you try to use it. Broken versus on fire.
So your list of those who must is currently at 6 out of a recommended
ERROR...two out of a recommended nearly 100. Apparently incomplete lists produce unpleasant results, though you're uncertain of the details.
Dare you attempt a test summoning with
ERRORNote to self: Do not attempt math with meaningful numbers.
Dare you attempt a test summoning with 6% of a full list? Normally the answer would be no, but you're getting
rather sick of this. On the other hand, you don't want to break the
